    • I would definitely go with and all terrain tire. I use them on my hunting quad because i go through so many different types of ground including flat ground. As @06kfx440 said a mud tire on smooth ground makes for a bumpy ride.    Ebay has a ton of all terrain tires.
    • I need to figure out how to clean/fix or replace my neutral switch assembly On my 2008 Yamaha big bear 400 as generally the neutral light doesn’t come on when it is in neutral. To get it to come on I have to wiggle the foot shifter and hold it in just the right spot. I have googled it and can’t find much on the 400’s. I can’t find a service manual online and the parts manual is super vague. I think it is in the right side engine cover area, but not certain.   Any help would be great. thanks Scott
    • Well. Will you be going thru swamps or wetlands. Mountains and rocks. All of it, most of it? If you ride on dry lands with trees. Then a mud tire will be a bumpy ride depending on the tire. Compacted treads will offer a smooth ride but can be crappy in mud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
    • Well that I don’t know as I am new to Atv ownership. I bought the quad for hunting which is a bit of everything depending on the weather?
    • Thanks, I bought Maxxis big horn 2.0’s (take off from a Yamaha Viking) which I learned after I bought them that they are different then off the rack big horn 2.0’s which is a piss off. Apparently the Yamaha ones are 4 ply rears and 2 ply fronts instead of 6 ply like the off the rack and the take offs are biased and not radials... That doesn’t make sense to me and is a piss off but I guess it is to save Yamaha money and mislead buyers.. atleast I got them for a good price.
