Since i'm in B.C., Canada, i guess i'll tell you they have just incorporated a law here to have riders license and insure their ATV's except if you're using it on private land. If you're a member of any game club or wildlife federation, then they automatically insure you as a part of your membership.

So I live in Louisiana, no license placard is required for an ATV here. But my ATV lives in New York. I got a Louisiana license sticker for it so I could prove that it was not a NY ATV. That sticker license has been expired for a few years. As far as I know, NY won't let me be a resident without a NY license. 

So the question is do I need to have a current Louisiana license sticker on the ATV or can I operate it as Louisiana laws allow, without a license sticker?
