  1. Hello all thanks for the add. I just got a Kazuma 150cc on a partial trade. Its all tore apart for paint but I'm a little suspicious about that. Could use a manual to reassemble and mor than likely do some repairs too.

  3. I should of checked the differentials but didn't take any tools or flashlight with me. Got it home and changed all of the fluids and found that water gotten into each differential. The back prolly just needs resealed but the front one has a bad pinion bearing too. If I had the light I could of seen the wet area around the shaft. The front is prolly too big of a project for me. Taking it to a reputable atv mechanic next weekend. Live and learn don't take the sellers word , the machine was just serviced and ready to ride...

  4. @Alan Callison @GlenI Yes it can be expensive but worth it also. As far as the non starting it could be the main fuse next to the starter relay, a bad safety like a neutral safety switch, or something locking it out like a bad ignition or kill switch. Download the manual and post the wire diagram and I will help you out where I can tracing the source. As far as The bayou 220 goes @GlenI its going to be fun to do. Get familiar with the manual as soon as you are able to download and again you will find everything you need here info/helpwise. It’s only a machine and there is always an answer. Bad or good but there is an answer.

  5. Hi everyone, I'm about to get my first ATV, 02 bayou 220. Neighbor said I could have it if I fix it, Carburetor problems, and needs a new ignition switch. last ran 2 years ago, said he changed the oil in it twice a year and never ride it hard. Hope I got me a good ride.

  6. Thanks Frank, the previous owner did a bunch of performance modifications to it, an aftermarket reed, and carb, bigger rear sprocket, aftermarket exhaust, and shocks. Also included all of the original parts, I did also replace the belt and chain as well as put a stock size sprocket back on

  9. Exactly what @Frank Angerano said, and should be what we used to call semi-automatic. You have to shift but with no clutch. Bayou 220 is a great atv, it was my first utility quad after I moved away from an older sport 87 yamaha warrior. Here's a much older picture of me and my bayou back in 2002 or 2003.. Good luck with it, make sure you download the manual here: * Topic moved to Kawasaki ATV forum and re titled post to include ATV info.

  10. Athena (P400250600300) Top End Gasket Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PLS6ZXW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_77R6BbVRTF3VG Carb cleaner is great but sometime you have to run a small wire through the jets to be sure they are clear. I also like to blow air through the jets to be sure they are clear. I like to use a piece of wire from a bicycle brake cable, one strand of that. There are also small brush kits for cleaning carburetors on amazon as well.
