    I've been riding about almost 2 years...last summer I raced in a mx/sx series in Kentucky...now we live in NY and I'm racing in a harescramble series. So, I've done a little bit of everything.......and I'm still learning. Andddd I'm having a blast doing it all!!!

    ok...i've got my 400ex I used to do mx with now I do harescrambles. I have a DRD (Dubach Racing Development) exhaust on there and LOVEEEE the power it gives me. I also have a little bit experience with the shocks..... I had the stock 400ex ones on there until my husband bought his 08 450 shocks...then I swapped them out and put them on my quad cause he got Elka's for his. About a month ago I sent the stock 450r shocks to Hygear Suspension, which is a local shop that rebuilds stock OEM shocks and I LOVE THEMMMMMMMMMMMM. My husband said he wishes he never bought the Elkas, he wishes he got them rebuilt by Hygear instead. Plus, it would have saved us some money!!! I believe he spent almost 1300 on the two front Elkas, and I spent 588.00 getting the stock ones rebuilt. So, even if you have to purchase stock ones, which are on ebay listed all the time, and you spend 200 bucks on them and then get them rebuilt/revalved, you're still saving about 500 bucks by not getting brand new shocks and everythign from a company like Elka. Just a suggestion....do what you want with it and...HYGEAR SUSPENSION is where you can get some sick rebuilds on stock shocks!

    wow, nice video. I didn't have a very good day either yesterday, although my day was nothing compared to your loss. I'm sorry to hear, but just remember that you now have an angel watching your every move, taking care of you as you walk through life... <33

    totally agree w/Bot and MWKE.....also..if you remember from another post, my husband has the same 450 you do....he had a 400ex before...anywho, he said the throttle on the 450 pushes a LOT harder than the 400ex...he sometimes gets arm pump and his right hand hurts after a race. Alot of it could be injury, but a lot could be the throttle too... my suggestion? get a thumb throttle extender. I have one on my 400 and LOVE IT. THen, you wouldn't be using your thumb as much, you could use the palm of your hand to push on the throttle

    awwwww lucky duck. i was racing all weekend....not a good weekend for me, crashed wayyyy to many times and busted my front bumper in half..... =[[

    congrats on the new wheeler you'll save a couple hundred bucks by getting the white one, and you can still trick it out like you would the black.... put up some pics as soon as you get them

    this was during my first race in NY, I was goin through a log section, much like the one Bot's going through above....anywho, my tires caught up on the to of last log and nearly sent me flying... so i figured i'd kiss my plastics =]

    yeahhh i know, i'm trying to talk the husband into it right now we have a 7 X 16 enclosed trailer we set up camp in every race weekend...I'd love to have an actual camper.
