Normally good machines but on this listing I would be concerned about Cluster display and speedo not working.

Shake the key, does it flicker more? If so, might be the ignition switch.

My friend has a 300 or 250 king quad, had many over the years and keeps one that is in excellent condition. However, he has been a Honda Rubicon and now a brand new Rincon rider. Loves them. Did you ever decide?

Just curious, did you ever figure this out? My first guess would be a corroded float pin causing the float to get stuck.
