How long did it sit for? Maybe drain and replace the gas? * Added issue into topic title.

The Official Good morning thread!
Ajmboy replied to BuckBilly's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Turned out to be a EF2 tornado in Putnam County! Not common for us in this area but lately storms are pretty violent. News article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.lohud.com/amp/616453002 -
The only service manuals for Suzuki ATVs are in the downloads section https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/category/4-suzuki-atv/ or within a topic in the forum which you can use the search bar up top. If you don't find one then it may not exist here and if someone would be kind enough to add one to our downloads section..it will the future. Everyone looks for free manuals but it really depends on if someone adds it to this site and makes it available as a share. ☺️ I changed your topic title from "serious help" to the actual request. Maybe that'll help. On a quick site search, I took a look in the downloads section and do see this one which looks to be 246 pages...uploaded by @oxidized_black

Replacement cylinder question for 90 Quadrunner LT4WD
Ajmboy replied to SilentNoise's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
Welcome to QUADCRAZY! That's a good question and hopefully someone who has some experience with this will be able to tell you, but I think what you are doing by comparing part numbers is what I would do. If the engine is good on the 2002, can you swap the entire engine? Probably some modifications.- 3 replies

Sounds like electrical to me if you move the quad and it cuts out. I would start checking all your wiring and grounds. Check all your electrical connectors/plugs. *Topic moved to Yamaha forum and added year into topic title.

The Official Good morning thread!
Ajmboy replied to BuckBilly's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Good morning! Nasty storms in lower NY have caused down trees everywhere again and power loss. Thankfully this round we have power. Schools are all closed and county has a state of emergency. Someone put this video together from yesterday's storm. Very high winds. -
QuadBoss Swivel ATV Dump Cart Review
Ajmboy replied to Ajmboy's topic in New ATV Products, Reviews & Tests
7 years later and I'm still using this same dump cart. It's done various jobs for me every year and hauls a good amount of weight. Just posted the pic below in the gallery. Last weekend I took apart some old wet outdoor steps that were very heavy. I was throwing them into the cart, the plastic held up and continues to hold up without issue. Never had to do anything to this thing. I would buy another one in a heart beat! -

From the album: My Yamaha Grizzly Photos
Here a picture I took over the weekend. Now that it’s spring, I’ve been doing some yard work. Took down some old outdoor wooden steps and transported the wood with my handy dump cart and my Yamaha Grizzly. She’s a work horse of a quad. -
Welcome to QUADCRAZY. Maybe it's not a 2009. You could check the manual for older big bears below but its for a 400 and see if there is any info in there that's closer. Or check the other yamaha manuals available in the downloads section for wiring schematics https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/category/3-yamaha-atv/ There really should be a vin stamped somewhere unless this ATV was repaired/modified or even stolen at one point where they would remove it.

Thermostat interchange 2003 sportsman 600 twin
Ajmboy replied to sutherland696969's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
You can probably find an aftermarket one and possibly a factory OEM for less than $100. Although I would probably opt for a factory thermostat if you can get it cheaper. Aftermarket is less expensive @$25 Polaris Sportsman 600 700 800 Twin Thermostat 7052352 7052308 on Amazon If you hunt around online, you can probably find an OEM for @ $50 -
Glad you found it! That's up to you, I would probably replace it but first take a look at a parts schematic somewhere like https://www.yamahapartshouse.com

It might be the switch or an issue with the wiring. Do you have a manual with a wiring diagram? Here's one for a 2005, should be similar. There is a diagram. I believe its the push button switch to the ignition fuse, then to the relay and then to the starter. Look at the diagram in the electrical section
-
What throws it off here is that you jumped the starter and it engages and you replaced the relay/solenoid. Did you jump it at the relay/solenoid you replaced or down at the starter? Was it under the seat? Fuses all good? I'm also assuming your battery is fully charged and you have good connections everywhere with your wiring, grounds, etc.
-
So you checked and there is no spark, correct? You pulled the plug and tested while cranking?
-
Do you have a factory exhaust or aftermarket? * Added to the topic title - your issue and manufacturer. 😁

Unfortunately I can't seem to locate a service manual. I did find what looks to be an older owners manual for these things if you need it. I added it to the downloads section:

There's a 2006 DVX 400 in the downloads section https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/category/9-arctic-cat-atv/ if that helps.

Put it into gear, not neutral, and hold down the hand brake. Does it start? * Cleaned up topic title and added full ATV info.
