  4. or take the plastics off and get it hydro-dipped... i would go that route if i was to that stage... http://www.quadcrazy.com/atvforum/general-talk-anything-goes/11064-hydrodipping-water-transfer-printing.html
  5. yes maybe ... i don't think you'll find anything that you or i would be happy with ya know? the products out there promise this and that, but will wear off like the amour all. another less expensive product you can use and i use it regularly, is pledge furniture polish, it doesnt seem to be as sticky as the amour all. it lasts maybe a little longer than the other too....
  6. quadnut20 will be the best guy to talk to predrider305, you can send him an email thru here and he will most definately answer you on this. he has the same bike, and knows these 450r's inside out.
  7. seeing how you're in canada (fellow canuck), take it to a napa store or crappy tire and they can test the starter right there in 5 minutes... even the atv dealer will, but they might charge you and keep it overnight. do you know any mechanics there? a starter is a starter, don't matter what it comes off of ...
  8. i have heard this is about the best stuff available. Plastic Gloss is made and sold mostly in Nova Scotia, Canada. Nova Specialty Fluid And Finishes 2720 Gottingen St Halifax, NS B3K 3C7, Canada [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7_XV-wYgE4]Plastic Gloss - YouTube[/ame]
  9. i would check the needle and float and make sure they are clean and moving freely.
  10. we are all here to ride and have fun and help each other out, and you're not questioning me to death i think something is interupting the path of the electric starter, the bike runs fine with it being pull started, so i would have to think there is a wire(s) grounding or a bad starter or battery....
  11. i would check everything that looks worn, even unplug the connections and look inside for corrosion and repack the connectors with dielectric grease.
