  1. Fort McMurray is the center of just one of the 3 large oil sands deposits in Alberta. The others are centered at Peace River and Cold Lake. In total these deposits cover about 140,800 square kilometers or 54,363 square miles in northern Alberta. This is an area larger than the state of Florida. Currently the bulk of the development is in the Fort McMurray area.

  3. i have seen and heard all good things about the eton bikes too, i think you can get a 50cc ...
  4. been there, done that... get'r'did or else the carb is prob still dirty, not sure about the pipe unless it's blocked with mud maybe, and the fan shouldn't stay on all the time ...
  5. The top ring should have a copper color with a chrome ring face. There will be a little "N" stamped near the end gap. The N has to be facing up. The black ring is the oil scraper ring and it goes in the 2nd groove. It also has to be installed with "N" facing up. If you don't put the "N"'s up, your bike will scrape oil into the combustion chamber instead of into the lower end and you will burn up your oil and risk a seizure.

  14. swampcat07 is the best guy to talk to about cats on this site. i wouldn't think the fan runs constantly, and sounds like its locked between gears, if you pull the rear brake lever in, it should turn over. also check your kill switch and look at all the wiring that leads to sensors, like a neutral safety switch. i have a service manual for the 2001 line up if you want it and look at it in the meantime, should be fairly close to your bike. go here: www.yousendit.com email: [email protected] pass: romy1961 click on the folder icon at the top middle of page after login. its a zip file --> arctic cat 2001 line

  19. Dragline formerly used for surface mining oil sands. Syncrude had 4 in operation. Last one retiring at the end of 2005. These draglines would mine the oil sands and deposit them in what they call windrows. A bucketwheel, shown next, would then scoop up the windrows, passing the material by conveyor to crushers. It would then be slurried and sent to the refinery by pipeline for processing. Each used the energy equivilant per day of 30,000 homes to operate. Two of these bad boys have been disassembled and sent to Australia for coal mining operations there.
