Well I found specs on my Yamaha Warrior saying dry weight as 397lbs. Now the question is if I add the oil and about a gallon and a half of gas and and coated it in mud how much would it weigh. I had it stuck in a wash and I picked up the front end and put it up on the ledge of the wash then picked up the rear end and rolled it up on to the ledge of the wash. Had a sore chest all week cause of that.

We want pictures of you with this bad boy.

Oh yeah you have the trax mod on you Can-Am don't you. Something like that would be useless in Central Illinois. Don't get much snow. Then again when we get it, We really get it bad.

You have to pull up the handle then move it back. If the handle won't pull up then it won't go back far enough to shift into reverse. When my friend got his Warrior it wouldn't go into reverse cause the handle wouldn't pull up. I took the handle part off and started oiling it up till I got it to move. If the rubber is still on it you will have to pull it back and you will see a nut. Take the nut off and then the locking handle should come off. Might have to mess with it some to get it off. When the handle if off you'll have to start oiling it and trying to twist it a little and pull at it. It may take a little to get it to move.

Sounds to me like the starter if it cranks effortlessly manually. Would have said battery but you said you have a new battery.

Chrysler SnoRunner or SnoRabbit / Echo Snobike
KnightHawk replied to marioweldinginc's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
I think I would stick with my quad. Don't get enough snow around here to need one of those. -
Please edit your title to include year make and model stating oil leak. Yes I know what it is now but if you put it in the title someone that has one might see the thread and decide to view it and try to help. I can't help in this cause I don't have a clue about the Kodiak. I have a Warrior. Sorry I couldn't help

That's pretty sharp looking, Who makes that? And sorry I don't have that kind of cash to buy it. Stick with my Yamaha Warrior right now. -

I could use the tire sealer right now. My left front tire doesn't seem to hold air. Doesn't actually go flat. Holds air but not what I put in it. -

Not a clue. Never hear or seen one. Maybe I'll look around and see what your talking about. -
What is the Year,Make and Model of this. And a bike will run on choke until it gets warm then it will die and it will cause it to backfire trying to start it. If the choke isn't on then check your air filter. Sounds like an air flow problem.

Go get some Sea Foam. Read how much to use cause you don't want to much. Sea Foam is get for cleaning injector or so I'm told. Even though you drained the fuel you still had enough that got through and gummed the injectors I'm guessing. -

2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 X2 efi speedo quit working?
KnightHawk replied to CK1999_400ex's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
Too me it sound like the computer has a problem. If the odometer is working but the speedometer isn't then there is a short in the computer or broken spot on the display board that is stopping it from displaying speed. Not related to the speedo but to explain the broken board. I had a CB in my van I had and the transmit worked till it got warmed up. Took it to the shop and they found a small crack in the connection. Made contact cold but after electric flow through it some and it got warm it lost connection. -
I don't know if it's true but I was told the off brands have plastic gears in the gear case. That would make it cheaper for them to build the ATV.

You know most Black Friday sales are scams. You see the big deals but then if you look closely it says limit 10 per store. The big deals are just to get you to come to the store. A lot of people can't keep from spending money after they get in the store.

yap yap yap, Just like a bunch of girls. Always talking. LOL No offense ladies. -
Welcome QC AquaJoe. Seeing your new to Quad riding take some advice. Take it easy at first. I don't know if you've rode dirt bikes but this is a whole new game. These things can roll and flip a hell of a lot easier.

Problem with the recessed screw is that it won't turn at all. If I keep trying I'll strip the head of the screw.

2001 Honda Recon TRX250 ATV pulls to the left
KnightHawk replied to wonl2's topic in Honda ATV Forum
Sounds to me like a alignment problem. I know a way to check if it's off with a tape measure to an extent but I can't explain it without making an illustration. If no one can tell you a way to check the alignment I'll make an illustration to explain it.
