  3. Yes sir. I'm into the sports quad getting stuck too. But with M.S. I have to think in future prospective. If I have trouble now, what's to say I won't be okay in 5 years. As far as sale. I can get 1500+ for my kfx. 900 on a good day for the Polaris. Yeah it needs work, but that doesn't stop me at all on my decision. We have quadcrazy people to help me if I'm jammed up. 7. Never ridden there. Going to load up the trailer and head up for that weekend. It would be good if someone was there that is familiar with the place as well as another member to top it off. @06kfx440 and myself have been trying to plan something for a while now and this place seems to be close enough.

  8. I work a screwy 12 hr schedule, but I am off that weekend. I could join up on any of the days. Have you ridden there before or need a guide? I ride there a lot because its close to home. Mike

  10. Hanging at the river with friends, floating and everyone had their quads. One couple was nice enough to let us use on of theirs and BOOM! the addiction started!

  11. Snow removal in the interior of Alaska. Bought a used 2008 Suzuki King Quad 750 AXi with a plow. Though it was overkill. There have been times when full power in low range and locked differentials have been required to remove snow.

  13. Started going to the river to float and fish and everyone else had quads to go back and forth so WHAM it had to happen!

  14. I would suggest to the ladies to leave their engagement rings at home when out riding . As others have mentioned it's too easy to lose the stone(s) out of engagement rings, whether you wear gloves or not. Nobody in their right mind wears rings in the mechanical and electrical trades while on the job , and nobody should wear them when doing anything recreationally where there is a chance of snagging or shorting out their ring. It's far too easy to end up with no ring......or finger. By all means , wear your rings socially but leave them home when out riding or camping.

  16. A friend suggested I go to a off road "church camp" up in Michigan with my son as a way to bond. That was over five years ago and we are still going. We also go to the Ironman race in Indiana together. I never grew up with any toys, so I am a LATE bloomer. We do have a lot of fun, and I have a plow for one when we get snow.

  17. I put an 85' CR500 motor into a Yamaha Blaster. It would do 0-30 in 1 second but it rattled all the bolts loose lol

  18. Great point , and kind of you to put the offer out to ride/w others. When im out alone I usually adjust my ride for safety, i dont get into anything over my head lol , some afternoons i just want to cruise the trail ill go,slow enjoy the ride , but you are right about being alone , very easy to make a mistake ad regret it. Be safe. Airborne
