  1. You guys are definitely keeping busy. I will try and spread the word about the spring event.
  2. OK I am now on the hunt for some installation guides for some popular brands. My thought if the OEM is a weak design why fasten a stronger bumper to it. Nothing against the bison bumpers they sure do look nice, I am just learning about this now. The Arctic Cats I have come with a bullet proof front bumper but the kawi needs a little something extra up front.
  3. Back from Motorama - Good Morning Everyone.
  4. So the front OEM bumper remains on the quad? I know it sounds like a werid question but I never seen that before.
  5. I would check both bikes over and see how the wear and tear on them are. It only takes a short distance on rocky trails to wear out the suspension or one time in the mudhole to mess up the motor. Looks for signs like warn a arm bushings, bad bearings, leaking seals, and mud in the airbox.
  6. Glad it worked out. It was smart to have the dealer do the final hookup of the winch on such a new bike that way they cant say it messed with the warranty or anything. Have fun and take lots of pics.
  7. You will love the HL springs when they come in. It should add about a half inch of ground clearance depending on how warn your old springs are.
  8. Mornin' Looks like there is some snow in the forcast. 1-3"
  9. Now I really want to go riding. I'll be sure to check out the website event though I am a bit east.
  10. I think what they mean is that they are not as flimsy as an OEM replacement. I have seen on a few quads OEM bumpers made out of light guage "exhaust" tubing and they last all about a year until you try and push over a tree. Fit and finish are really important as well as where they transfer the load on the bumper to. A lot of the OEMs make the bumper so it absorbs the impact to protect your frame. I will hold any judgment until we see some of these with some real world use on them.
  11. Looks like you were having a good time. Time types of trails are similar to those we have here.
  12. No one ever asks for less power. I did a BBK on my quad and it has been very reliable. With a new to you used quad who knows what you are going to get. Stick with yours and add some HP. Good luck with the build. Post pics along the way.
  13. I looks like the gas is gravity fed looking at the parts diagram. But there still may be a vacuum if you look at the nipple mid carb, not the one on the top for the gas. I looked at the engine breakdown and couldn't really find where it goes to. On the newer models it goes into the boot between the carb and the engine.
  14. Forget billet aluminum spacers, nothing says style more than hockey pucks.
  15. That's great work. I subscribed to your facebook page.
  16. Welcome. SXSs are very comfortable but ripping it up on a quad is just a totally diffrent way of riding.
  17. The front tire reminds me of the new tires they have out that are not solid rubber but also have no air.
  18. I added another vote.
  19. I can't believe how clean that is!
  20. Thanks!
  21. I have seem cases where the diaphragm is work or reinstalled incorrectly. Let me think about it while I am out in the garage this weekend, and I will have a chance to pull up your parts diagram. On my 07 there is a vacuum line to the carb and if there was a pin hole or loose connection it would not pull enough gas into the carb.
  22. Moose is actually using "all balls" and well the way I ride the H1 gets new bearings just about once every year. The best bearing in my opinion are the koyo brand.
