  1. I'm not sure without really comparing wiring diagrams but I would probably say its better to have the correct wiring harness. Can you return it?
  2. Welcome! Post in the Yamaha forum: https://www.quadcrazy.com/atvforum/15-yamaha-atv-forum/
  3. I moved your post out of the good morning topic into its own. Worst case scenario it’s stuck in gear because something locked up. Usually rocking it like you did would let you get it into neutral. So it’s semi auto? Shift foot peg? Can you go up or down into any gears?
  4. Hopefully you got this back together. Here's a pretty good video on Kawasaki Bayou 300 Engine Centrifugal Clutch, Basket & Friction Plate Removal
  5. The Kawasaki Lakota and Mojave are almost exactly the same from what I've read except for the engines and I think swing arms, suspension and a few other items. The Lakota has the Bayou engine I believe. Depends on year.
  6. Officially... I would probably get a 90cc quad to start maybe a 110cc.
  7. @Rich1028 I'm not going to ban you but please watch your tone. Really not fair for you to say this. Out of the thousands of topics on atvs in this community, you gather your opinion based on the one "general discussion" topic about politics you decide to jump into? You then trash QUADCRAZY like this because of your political views? That's not fair and we are also not for name calling other members, no matter how much you dislike their opinions. Lets appreciate everyone's point of view and please keep it civil. Everyone.
  8. I think the debates (if they happen) will be “must see tv”!
  9. I took a quick look and only see rebuild kits and OE carbs, which are pricey. I don't see any aftermarket carbs.
  10. Yes, or upgrade your membership for immediate access https://www.quadcrazy.com/subscriptions
  11. usually you have to pay a fine to get it back out of the impound
  12. Thanks for sharing, very nice library. Owner's manuals are good to have but not as much needed as service and repair manuals. You can get an owner's manual pretty much anywhere from google, searching a download link. They are usually all free. We have some owners manuals, but mostly ATV service and repair manuals. Our community library is here: https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/ If you have any to share, feel free to upload.
  13. Wow to the violations and the bears! Nice 👍 Now you know you got bears up there!
  14. That's a good point, agencies need the fines!
  15. Saw this in the news...was this anyone here????? 🤔 13 ATVs and dirt bikes impounded from N.J. wildlife area. Riders face list of charges. State officials charged several people with various violations and impounded their ATVs and dirt bikes last weekend from the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area in Ocean County, authorities said. Police officers with the state’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation were investigating illegal off-road vehicle use in the management area on Saturday, July 25 when two ATV riders tried to flee, officials said. When officers caught up with them, they issued summonses for criminal obstruction, interference with the duties of a conservation police officer, and violations of wildlife management area use. The two ATVs were impounded, police said. The next day, a group of ATV and dirt bike riders from northern New Jersey drove past several “NO ATV” signs posted in the wildlife area known as “clay holes.” Clay holes, or “blue holes” are former gravel or sand mines filled with water. They are popular, although dangerous, destinations for teenagers and adults looking to beat the summer heat. Officers issued summonses to the riders for illegally operating off-road vehicles and for driving unregistered vehicles. They also wrote tickets for illegal swimming, possession of alcohol and entering a restricted area. In all, 13 ATVs and dirt bikes were impounded. The owners are facing fines starting at $274, and impound, towing and storage fees of at least $300, conservation police said. In a statement, police said “only registered, insured, street-legal vehicles are permitted in Wildlife Management Areas. Vehicles may only be operated on established roads and parking areas.” This is from: https://www.nj.com/ocean/2020/08/13-atvs-and-dirt-bikes-impounded-from-nj-wildlife-area-riders-face-list-of-charges.html
  16. Looks like its not available any longer.
  17. Thanks for sharing. I deleted your 2nd topic, which was identical to this one. I renamed this topic with more info.
  18. That sounds pretty steep to fix. I would take it home and find a used read diff on ebay or elsewhere
