  5. kill switches sometimes get corroded and ground out ... most switches can be taken apart ... maybe try that too ?
  6. it should be on the backside of motor ... looks like an oil sending type unit, probably 1 wire ... if the safety switch is damaged, its an easy fix, all it does is allow spark when in neutral ... i have seen some bikes that have a light saying they are in neutral and no spark, replace and spark again ... hopefully this is all it is ....

  9. your starter button sounds like it may be stuck, i think you can take it apart and clean the contacts ...
  10. bad connections ... take the battery connections and clean them with sandpaper, your ground, starter, and solenoid ... dielectric grease them too when finished ,,, hopefully this is all it is
  11. i would call the dealer ... he can tell you what they are new, ok and when the rings need to be replaced ...
  12. there is a minor adjustment you can try ... there is a slotted head around a nut on the backside of motor, probably on right side sitting on bike, not sure what way tightens ,,, but it may help ...

  17. i had to adjust mine all the way tight against the drum, then backed off a star lug or two ... still wasnt great braking but it was ok ...
  18. drum brakes are very lax ... they need to be adjusted very very close to the hub, but even then, they are no where near as tight as disc ... and if wet you have virtually nothing ... use the engine to brake, down shift and then use brakes ...
