  4. Sold the Bayou 400 for a really good profit and found a good bike for my oldest! Iโ€™ve been buying old, beat up low $ fixing and selling for good profit. So far Iโ€™ve done pretty well. Picked up this 2009 rancher!

  5. Happy New Year all! Remember not to operate any vehicles while under the influence, you could get busted or worse, you could get hurt or hurt someone else who's playing it safe and end up in jail. Have fun and be safe.

  9. It's 100% legal to ride. There are some places that aren't legal but fun as hell to open up for drag races. I would have 5 coming along with me. So feel free to Invite your buddies. Again. It's legal but don't trash our spot because that guarantees a place to ride again. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  11. A couple of things I always bring with me. 1. A small jumper pack to see if the bike cranks and dash lights work. 2. Socket set to pull the plug so you can check compression/spark. 3. Vin# web page stored as a favorite on my phone to verify the year. 4.Always look under the plastics to see that the colors all match and havenโ€™t been changed. 5. I look at the bolts everywhere especially the engine to see if there Is any striping from sockets or wrenches that have been put on the bolts. Kind of an indicator as to if the engine has been taken apart. 6. Color of oil (grey) for water ๐Ÿ’ฆ no good. 7. Tons of tape on the wiring harness like someone has torn through it and re taped. 8. Go through all the gears, weather the bike runs or not. Put it in gear and try to roll bike see how it puts pressure on the engine. 9. Lastly I look for welds on the frame. For repairs to cracks, wrecks etc. All of these things I do very quickly and use the results as a negotiation tool when buying.

  19. It sounds like a lean issue with both quads. Is the stock air filter in place ? Some quads lean out and don't want to run right without the air filter . Check to make sure there's nothing restricting the fuel flow to the carb. Also check to see if a small piece of crud has gotten into the carb inlet and resstricting fuel flow past the float needle . The new carb you bought might not be calibrated properly for your machine. Check the clip on the main throttle needle. You may need to move it down towards the needle tip to make it open more under throttle. Check is the idle air screw. It may be adjusted a little too lean. That would let it idle but when you go to open the throttle the mixture goes a bit to lean and it stumbles. All these lean burn symptoms would be more pronounced when the motor is warm. Those are about all I can think of to suggest checking .. Good luck and Happy New Year .
