New version! Your are welcome to test here http://www.quadcrazy.com/membermap/ This uses maps from mapquest and you can update your location directly on the map or in your profile settings. Still working out some stuff, but its only going to show those who have added their locations. Moving forward, new members are required to add their locations on the registration page upon joining our community. It will also show a mini map on your profile page like we had it before.

QUICK TIP: You can change your notification settings which include how you are notified when actions take place in the community for things like when you are followed, mentioned, etc. You can control how often you receive notification emails as well. Visit Account Settings > Other Settings > Notification Settings

Oh boy, look who's back! I like the video idea, members would need to post it on youtube and then paste the page url into a topic. We took down the video section from the old site because these days with HD and 4K video, the sizes are so big and quite frankly, the large video sites do it so much better. Pasting a video url into the topic brings up the video player automatically just like pictures and other media on this new platform. We moved from vbulletin to IPS for the backend software.

We have a new picture section and encourage everyone to upload their ATV photos. Looking for some suggestions on our categories. We used some of the old categories that we had. Currently you can upload photos to the different categories without creating an album, or you can create as many albums as you like to organize your photos. Would you mind sharing what you are doing by geocaching? Are you saving your rides or sharing the geo locations? Is it part of a network share? How does that work? Great info, was wondering if anyone can attach a copy of a .gpx or other file after exporting, if you can export. I'd like to see what the output is and test some display for a possible trails section.

With our new site, to insert an image you would just paste the image (or video) url directly into the post to embed it or use Insert other media to the lower right of the post editor. There is a also a feature where if you copy the url from topic, post, photo (from the picture gallery) it will automatically embed it as well. Example below. All I did was enter the url to the content.

Does anyone use GPS, whether on a device or app to record their ATV trail rides? I have been thinking about a section where our members can upload let's say a .gpx file and share their rides on a google map for others to see where there are riding areas. Not sure if this is something of interest or how much it would be used, so just trying to get an idea. Importing routes from files like xml, lmx, tour, freshroute, gpx, kmz, kml
