  1. No problem, that is one of the sickest home made videos I have seen.
  2. That was a cool video. Great job on it. The little things are what make it cool. The heavy drum roll while hitting the whoops. Good job at editing it. I deleted your other post.
  3. I'm the same way. I don't always ride balls out, but when I do I like to leave everyone behind.
  4. You are the one and only BB, we had to do it...it's you!
  5. No need to be sorry, we all give each other a hard time. As long as you don't get personal it should be all good. Just try to keep the ball bustin family friendly
  6. Can you take some pics of your motor? I copy and pasted that info.
  7. The reason I say the 450s are not great trail quads is due to the amount of shifting and clutch work it takes to get them through the rough stuff. There is nothing on trails that a 450 can do that a 400 can't. The 400 will most likely be able to hold 2nd or 3rd gear through the trails and be fine. The same trail on a 450 you are shifting from 2-3 back to 2. Just takes a lot more rider technique to get the 450s through. The 400s will just lug down and go.
  8. That guy he posted the pic of is his old trucking buddy. They use to do long hauls together.
  9. ATVmechanic has never steered anyone in the wrong way, He will get you going.
  10. BB, the new thong should be there anytime...MWKE will be in it! Happy Bday brother.
  11. The easiest way is to tap into the oil line that goes from clutch cover to the head or rocker cover.just run a line from the cooler to either side of the oil line after you cut it,use some snug line and 2 hose clamps on each connection so it doesnt leak.
  12. Not a real good trail quad. Like my 450 it works on the trails but it is not for the average trail rider.
  13. Seeing that he said he likes to go fast for short burst, I'm going to guess sport. Look into Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha are going to be the top 4. There is also Polaris, Artic Cat, and Can Am. I would look into something like a Honda TRX400EX, Suzuki Z400, Kawasaki KFX 400, or the Artic Cat DVX400. The Z400,Kfx400 and the DVX 400 are exactly the same machine...just different plastics. The 400cc sport quad is one of the best trail machines around. They are a pretty tame machine and easy to ride. If you wanted to, they can be modded to run as fast as the 450 racers. Are you looking for new or used?
  14. Is that what you're testing the winch on?
  15. LMAO, I might get in trouble if I comment.
  16. wtf!!!
  17. No they won't. If you are running 3" spacers on each side maybe. I run them on our 1200lbs Rhino with no issues. I know people that race GNCC in the UTV class with spacers, they jump all day long in their rhino. Never a bent spindle, bent lug, or busted axles, or as you say ripped knuckles. The info you gave is false.
  18. Your spindles will break off before the spacers fail. A way around the bump steer is to just put them on the rear. A stance in the back will keep the center of gravity nice and low. Bump steer is easily resolved by a steering stabilizer.
  19. My ranger pulls the Rhino which is 1200lbs, my quad which is 365lbs plus the trailer the Rhino is on. The Ranger actually pulls very well, I just need more interior room. The gas mileage sucks too. Probably takes more force than that to get your shorts over the ginormous arse.
  20. I know you could, my Ranger could pull a Super Light. That was the joke.
  21. My machine is faster than his but he is a better rider. Any other racing events he races pro class. In these races he races in the Open ATV under 39.
  22. My last 2 races a Suzi has handed me my nuts. I finished the race and he was already out of his riding gear.
  23. Great info as always ATVmechanic. Thank you.
