    Welcome to QUADCRAZY! When the engine was rebuilt, was the crancase vent routed properly? When was the last time you changed that oil? * Added full year, manufacturer, and issue into thread title.

    I need to dig up a picture of the 86 trans am I used to have. Also had an 82 camaro at one point. Driving a cherokee now...used to be carcrazy!!!

    Good to see you back outlander! I started with a 1987 Yamaha Warrior when I was 23 or 24, which was 12 or 13 years ago for about $800. I rode some atvs that my friends had before that though. Then when I was 26 I bought a brand new Kawasaki Bayou 220. A couple of years later I went to a Yamaha Kodiak 450. Then a King Quad 700. Now have a Grizzly 660.

    Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Sounds like the carb needs a good cleaning or rebuild. Too rich and you'll see black smoke.

    I agree, I think you need to make use it's ATV oi with all the additives. Synthetic doesn't break down as fast.

    Yes, see if it is leaking. It's thevalve that turns the fuel off, on, and reserve.
