    I'm glad to hear that you had solved your issue Wizard... I agree with DD, check your valves/compression/timing. Stupid question...did you dump the fuel after you sank it? Change the plug?

    Nice, glad to hear you got it running good! More than likely a carb adjustment. Do you have a manual?

    It's eaither a bad/discharged battery or a bad connection most likely.

    Welcome to QUADCRAZY! My first response would be to rebuild the carb, but sounds like you already took it apart and cleaned it. Next I was going to say CDI, but you did that. Could it be as simple maybe as a battery or battery connection?

    Is there an adjustment for the rear brakes? Make sure it's all the way backed out.

    Something else fried in my opinion or lost connection, Do you have a wiring diagram? Check all your grounds, relays, fuses, etc.

    Souns like you checked the obvious, fuel and spark. It does sound like maybe it ran out of fuel...Does it have a fuel shutoff petcock switch? Are you positive there is fuel in the carb bowl? * Added full year and manufacturer to thread title.

    Yeah, as of right now, we have no vacations planned. I may take one week off in August to work on the house. I am however going on a fishing trip for a weekend at the end of July with some colleagues that should be interesting.

    That's good to hear that you were able to rebuild that starter and get it running. Just make sure the engine oil level is good, I don't believe you need to add extra oil separately.

    I agree with quadnut...do some TLC on it and get it running.

    Isn't that thing water cooled? Check the antifreeze if it is. Make sure the level is good.
