  5. sounds like it. fuel will run into the crankcase if there is a sticky float that is in open position. maybe a good cleaning of the carb will have it running smooth again ....

  7. i would just check all the wiring well. what looks good may be very brittle and have bad grounds or connections. check all the plastic connectors and clean them as well. good luck !!

  9. check for fuses, usually a couple 15amp fuses will blow and not hurt any electrical components ...

  11. i had the same problem with my big bear, it turned out to be a wire, like 2 strands and wasn't making a good enough contact. my safety switch is located on the foot shift side, on the top of the motor/transmission. my light never went on before i fixed it too ...
  12. here's a couple specials they run every week ....
  13. all i use mostly for myself are 6,8,10,12,15, and 17mm sockets/wrenches; and a set of metric allen keys and a standard spark plug socket. at a canadian tire store here, or even sears, you could pick up a 100 piece set for 50$ or less most times, that has everything in it i just mentioned. as for the hoses, i couldn't tell you. but i think any good automotive shop with have what you need in stock ...

  15. maybe fuel spills and knee wear took it's toll on the decals ... the all time 4 wheel were made from '94 to 2000. i might have a manual, i'll look ...

  17. yah i think you're bang on. just looking at images and this looks like the same beast. 250cc. is yours 2 and 4 wheel?
  18. i would think everything let go in the pot of the rear differential ... can you take the cover off to look inside? get a pan before you do and put under for oil dripping/running out ...
  19. i would say it was a '90's big bear 350 ... is it all time 4 wheel or does it have a 2 to 4 select switch?
