  10. probably still dirty. they are a PITA to clean and get it right. twist ties and an air compressor are the necessities along with the solvent ... is the float at the right spec? usually upside down and from the outer rim of the carb, where it meets the bowl, it is about 1/2", give or take an 8th to 16th, and the screw with the spring, about 2 1/2 turns out ...

  18. and then going to bike bandit, that off-run-off and headlight switch is what they list only. my buddy had an '02 but i can't remember his configuration. the manual doesn't show anything. maybe the key does start it like a car/truck ... where are the Polaris guys ???
  19. looking at the schematic, it shows on the left handlebar an over ride button and a start button. maybe someone took these off and pull started it, or jumped the solenoid like you did ??? i mean like it's gone completely ???
  20. the easiest way is switching it out with a bike that's the same, otherwise the dealer can test it. try a couple different dealers ... i know there is a way to test them with a meter, but i'm not sure of the specs ...
