  1. they are stubborn. sometimes if you can give them a little bit of a turn tight, it breaks them free. you might have to use heat. they are a pain i know because i removed mine when i tried tightening the oil lines up and it cracked the housing. when i ordered the new housing, i ordered the 3 new bolts too.
  2. once it is warmed up, an electrical component(s) is failing probably. a coil would be something to look at first, then see if you can get your cdi box tested ...

  4. i have a parts manual for that bike, but the service manual is for the scrambler and sportsman. you might have a bad stator or pick up coil. i think you can get a pick up coil separate from the stator. if you know someone who has a quad like this, try and switch out the cdi unit to make sure that isn't the problem too. 2003 Predator - Parts Manual.pdf 2001 Polaris 90cc Service Manual.pdf

  7. all mine are cv axles, but i can't see the axle spline stripping out, (or maybe it did) because there is alot of meat in there. is it a straight axle or is it independent?
  8. i've only replaced cv axles (knock wood) and never had to get inside the differentials. maybe someone will comment on this yet that has ...
  9. if it isn't coming up from blow by, it must be pulling the oil up and thru the carb somehow i think ... ???

  15. maybe it needs to be flushed out and new atv anti-freeze put in. if you do that and a new thermostat you may have your problem resolved ???

  17. could be the rings weren't enough and possibly needed a new sleeve ... you changed the valve seals, how were the valves?

  19. i would check all the vent lines from the motor. if the motor can't breathe, it will send oil thru the weakest link or breatheable tube. how's the compression and is the carb dirty or sticky float?
