i read on another forum, and your bike, that try tightening up the motor mounts first, if not that, disconnect the shifter linkage and see if it still jumps out of gear. if not these 2 things, it is an internal problem in the transmission unfortunetly ... -

i know its alot easier to shift when you use the foot brake as oppossed to the hand lever -

i thought once you use synthetic, you can't go back... but that's 4 stroke i'm talking ... i'm really not sure cheriah, i think wylde1 has a two stroke, better to ask him than be sorry ...

how about the temp sending unit if its got one? i think if its getting too hot now, and you just had the new water pump installed, maybe it's that. i hate to say it though ... you can always get a bigger rad too, and get longer oil lines and curl them ... -

if you were just going to flush the bike, just use the cheapest oil you can find at canadian tire or walmart, but put decent oil back in when youre sure it is flushed and ready to ride. i tend to stick to the manufacturers oils myself, but as long as you get an atv oil to your bikes spec, it is your decision. valvoline is a good choice too. -
