  1. you'll nail it... and besides, everyone is their own worst critic ...
  2. i had them with us, really i did. we just took them off at this stop, the gravel pit ... no :bs:
  3. well, i don't like throwing money away, i'll stay with a name brand in canada, north america or abroad. there is a huge difference between japanese quality and chinese. but that's me, and like i said before, i know guys that have bought chinese knock offs and wished they could go back in time and do it all over again. maybe the Linhai are a better machine than the rest of the chinese knock offs. i can't say either way so i apologize to NorthernDad for grouping them into that same category. it is a very tough market to break into and survive. i wish you great experiences with your bikes !! keep us posted ....
  4. i'm not sure what it could be AG... maybe someone will see this and make a post soon...
  5. i see them alot here, probably 1 out of 5 trucks have their bikes or sleds parked on top. not sure if it all this brand or not. good idea, but i bet it does really affect the handling of your rig.
  6. good morning quad crazies !!
  7. that's funny, where is this?
  8. ah right on!! just time and perseverance is the key. i'm, struggling with a carburetor right now and all i want to do is find my sledge and put it out of its misery but that's why i just took another break away from it .... good news yamamama !!
  9. Looks Sharp !!
  10. is this it? i hope you have room to get in there because it looks like its in there sideways ...
  11. me a dirty old man? hold on there grandpa!!! i happen to think patrick is the coolest guy from spongebob
  12. could be another bad wire somewhere. i'd check the wiring top to bottom for breaks and wear. i had a wire off the neutral safety switch on my big bear and it was that simple a fix ...
  13. well, hope the place it went to is full of honest people. you might get lucky there... fingers crossed !!
  14. mine were in tight too, sometimes if you give them just a little tightening, just to move it ever so much, it breaks it free. then you can back them out. you can also try keeping the screwdriver in the slot, and tap it with a hammer...
  15. hmmmm, i take that as a no go huh? just :bs: on their part to make you feel better huh?
  16. will this investigation play into your favour at some point?
  17. you probably just saved yourself alot of time and frustration ...
  18. hope this helps some ... there will be a nut you loosen so you can adjust with a screwdriver
  19. good morning everyone !! have a blast swampcat07 !!!
  20. i don't slam any make of bike, but i think these chinese knock-offs are plain junk. i know alot of guys that own them and they have been in the shop longer than in their garages. one in particular has 100km's on it and was in the shop more than out until his warranty expired. now he is stuck with a bike that still is not right, just a big boat anchor. most of these bikes will work fine until the warranty period is up, then all hell breaks loose. for a small few, you might get lucky and just have to change the oil. so as far as cheap, yes they are inexpensive machines. reliability, no, i don't think they are. fixing, yes on a weekly basis and parts are not usually stocked in North America, and can be expensive and a long wait. if i were you, i would hold tight on buying a chinese brand, and look for a good used name brand machine. do a little research on the bikes for sale, the internet is full of info on brp, honda, kawasaki, polaris, suzuki and yamahas. JMO ...
  21. yes. i thought there would be more than what there actually was on the trails. in town it seems like alot more, but it IS going away, slowly with the above 0 temps
