  1. Ok good luck. Keep us posted. Gaskets don’t forget gaskets.
  2. Lol there are but they are riding new quads!
  3. Ok so it’s below range. Could be that’s your problem. Where are you going to get the parts ?
  4. That’s correct @06kfx440 I use those apps as well as others including word of mouth. I always tell my friends that if you hear anyone selling please let me know. Now aside from that there are a ton of keywords also to use that helps me zero in on bikes that need work so I don’t get every newer type expensive bike that’s been listed. As well as looking every day. Early bird gets the worm 🐛!
  5. Even upside down the socket wrench still goes right to tight.
  6. Always good to have them. Not only for the bikes but cars etc.
  7. I don’t think so @JacobSlabach I think you are officially the youngest! Can’t say for sure but I would bet you are.
  8. Gotcha ! 👍🏻
  9. If your handy and have ever changed oil on a car you can do it yourself. It’s just a s matter of draining the oil and putting a new filter in. The only thing I would recommend is being careful with the drain plug re oval and reinstall. Make sure you don’t over tighten it and spin it in the proper direction. Remember “righty tightly lefty loosey” ! The manual for the bike is very explicit and walks you through it. So if you’ve turned a wrench before then your good.
  10. I can tell you I’ve put a few on and they are strong. I like the color coding on them as well.
  11. Nice work so far. The screw on the bowl should have a small gasket or o ring on the screw. Double check that. And as far as corrosion on the carb, that can be cleaned with the a good carb break down and scrubbing. As for the jest that’s missing a few threads well of it tightens down you should be good. Electrical ! Something is missing that when you put the bike in gear it kills the ignition like a neutral safety switch tie in of some sort. Your loosing a ground when you put it in gear. When the break lever is pulled in and the bike is in neutral there is a wire that’s grounded to the starter relay that allows you to start the bike. The same thing is happening for you when you put it in gear that you kill the engine. So start going through the wiring slowly and see if anything stands out. Even a faulty ignition switch so double check that.
  12. You will def find them useful!
  13. Thanks. Just seen, so sick.
  14. Maybe a bad fuel pump. The diaphragm is bad. It’s common.
  15. That should be enough. The only thing I really have left is the pick up coil?
  16. Gotcha. Have you checked the spark for good quality ?
  17. Oh ok thanks @davefrombc I was looking on my phone. I will def check it out.
  18. Fuel/air screw set properly? Have you checked the spark ? Maybe maybe a fresh plug?
  19. That’s what Quadcrazy is here for! Good luck and keep us posted.
  20. Can’t open the link but sounds cool.
  21. Yes That’s great. Just take your time and make sure you do a thorough job. I like to use a cheap white pilllow case on my work bench before I get into one. It helps to see any parts as well as the dirt that comes out. I buy the cheap ones a two pack for $2 bucks at them cheap stores like odd lot or something. I also like to use a can of compressed air to blow everything out. Staples or any office supply place has them.
  22. Nice work. I put a post up about carb adjustment screws and a few tricks to help you get into that screw.
  23. Ahhhhh so how do you manage this forum? Computer ?
