    the pic is just showing sensors not to scale/photogenic really, check the wires, i know it has a yellow/black, blue?/black and ??/black. 3 wires total running to it ... it was hard to make out the abbreviations of the colors ...

    mine will tick when its cold until they warm up too. i think it's normal. i've put synthetic oil in mine now too and i think it made it better ...

    take a good look around where it might have a bolt slide thru it and attach to the frame.

    i can't see why not, as long as the fuel is above the carb for gravity feed, and as long as the carb doesn't have like a check valve where it needs a certain amount of psi running to have it open ...

    from the looks of it, it should be attached by a bolt somewhere. is it really close to the chaincase cover ? could be the neutral/safety switch. doubt if it's a brake light sensor, but might be too ???

    there is abit of troubleshooting in the manual, section 6 is all carb ...

    just the overflow hose, sounds like that's working good i think the only other adjustment is the idle as far as i know, but my big bear is 4 years older than yours.

    how is the timing? there is also the needle jet you can adjust. are you thinking it is flooding or starving for gas?
