    usually if you just hear the clicks, it is a bad connection. the starter wire from your battery to the starter relay/solenoid and to the starter, and the same with the ground wire from the battery. more than likely you have a good connection at the starter being just repaired, but i would check there too.

    i see you had the same type of problem a year ago, when it was stored over the winter, did you empty the tank or put stabilizer in it? are you running this with the old gas still in it? if you are, i would dump the old gas and put in fresh, and a new spark plug. JMO

    stator controls power, cdi delivers the energy, coil makes the spark if stator is good, carb just delivers the fuel .... hard to say whats going on with your engine, you know? maybe you need a bigger jet, leaving it idle, it might just fill the bowl again to give it enough gas
