  2. i think if you noticed, this gentleman Bud03420, has posted on the same bike, on 3 different links, and the bike that he has been working on. who cares if the threads are old or new as long as they give or get new information. it's always nice to learn a new trick, or pick up an old trick, when your bike is down. JMO

  4. its probably the tail pipe like you say. if you can take it off you would probably see a difference. just keep an eye on your oil level and if it's good, you know it's just what's in the pipe burning off.

  7. most times it should, but not always. depends how much the overflow can handle too. if the fuel is coming into the bowl fast enough and has 2 ways to move and one way is being used, it will back up into the carb and into the cylinder. message this lady, she really knows her carbs cheriah's ATV Page » QUADCRAZY ATV Community i know the basics, but not an expert like she is ... she will definately answer you !!
  8. it sounds from that, that it might be the needle and seat or float level not right ...
  9. do you trun the fuel off when you don't use it?
  10. what year is your bike? is the carb you bought compatible with the old one? same specs?

  16. its either the air/fuel mix or overflow, but i think the overflow is on the side of the bowl ...

  19. i ended up taking everything from the kit back out and running twist ties thru everything, and only after that i got it to run right .... i went thru the same things you are now ....
  20. well, if you are having the same luck i had with mine on the big bear, i had my carb off and on 4 or 5 times before i got it right. took it all apart and ran twist ties through it all again, etc., only thing i could suggest ...
