  1. To use the stock arms with +2 arms you have to buy standard travel. Example, Lonestar sells +2 Long Travel a arms and +2 standard travel a arms. The long travel requires longer shocks, standard utilizes stock shocks. The only difference in the a arms is the lower shock mount location. What kind of riding will you be doing. If you ride in rocky stuff, yes get a arm skid plates
  2. What color is your spark plug? Do you have fresh fuel in it?
  3. Welcome to the site. The first 4 things I would do is check to make sure you are getting fuel, intake is completely clean, check and adjust valves, and check for compression.
  4. i agree, the 700XX is a beast!!! Glad to see you posting BB
  5. That's cool, so I assume that Danny Charles is his son?
  6. Here you go. HMF Racing / News / 01-01-10
  7. I'm watching it right now.... Tom Charles should have never run that 650HP Mullen Motor. LMAO J/K
  8. I mostly only ride Watkins in the Winter. I use to go to Rampart all the time but now my wife drives a Yamaha Rhino so we don't go there. The Rhino doesn't fit on the trails.
  9. Stock sound is usually about 93db. HMF's most quiet tip is about 94db but a MUCH throatier sound.(deeper tone)
  10. That is cool, what part of Kansas are you from? My wife is from Hays. My father in law does a lot of drag racing around Topeka and Great Bend.
  11. Ok, yeah I have seen it a few times. Pretty cool show.
  12. What is the show about?
  13. There are some companies that make aftermarket pipes that stay close to the same sound level as stock. The HMF 2010 Comp Series is an amazing pipe, it also comes with different inserts to control the sound level. Let us know what you decide.
  14. Those look great, I truly hope you are getting permission to use those logos. EVERY company requires written consent to use their logo. I'm in the same industry. You are looking at MASSIVE fines if you get caught using them without written consent.
  15. That would be amazing if the previous owner would help out...
  16. LMAO, that is some funny stuff Air1elle... Great pics ladies!!!, keep them coming!!!
  17. Good to know that Lexx doesn't hold up. I know they copied the technology of the early Yoshi pipes but obviously not the craftsmanship. Can't wait to here about the Alba
  18. I would remove the carb and completely take it apart. Clean the heck out of all of the passages and jets. Use a torch tip cleaner to poke through all of the jets.
  19. Check for any air leaks in the intake boot. How does the air filter look? Did the quad sit for an extended amount of time?
  20. Sorry that was me, I was logged in as "Drtygrl"
  21. Can Am has some of the fastest 4x4 quads around. Well into the 70mph range. The Grizzly is a solid machine too. I like sport quads so I would prefer a 450 but that is just me.
  22. If you used gas with ethanol in it, that could cause some issues. It is not getting enough fuel at idle, if it runs fine when you put the choke on you need to decrease the amount of air going in or increase the amount of gas.
  23. Wouldn't the carb closest to the air filter get more air than the second one? Is that why they run them different?
