The chain adjuster is usually part of the bearing... That's not damaged is it?

In no way shape or form is the 700 a nimble machine that excells in tight conditions. They are only good for open spaces. If the Raptor is so much better than the Honda, where are all the Raptor's big race trophies? When is the last time that Yamaha brought home a Baja 1000 win? The Raptor is too big for tight trail riding(just look how many do good in GNCC, I've never seen one) And it can't touch Honda in desert racing(the only racing I care about)

The Raptors are a one sided machine that can't do anything more than go in a straight line. The most god awful, uncomfortable quad I have ever sat on.

Honda has never made their 4x4 line anything more than capable and a great farm tool. Honda has realized the destruction that the big lifted atv's tend to cause. Not the machine but the riders. Honda has always gone to make the smallest footprint eco wise.

I really like the 50/50 for when I'm just leisure riding. We do a lot of stopping and walking around taking pics and stuff. they are much easier to walk around in. I have the Alpine star ones, they feel like basketball shoes. Very comfortable. When I'm riding hard, like when I'm racing, I can't sacrifice the ankle support just in case I crash.

What does the spark plug look like? Is it black?

I would guess that it is flashing an error/service code. Does it just flash nonstop, or does it like flash 3 times fast then wait a few seconds and then flash again?

No the 700xx is heavier than the Raptor by about 50lbs or so. The TRX450 weighs 364 with the E start and 355ish with the kick start. I have never had any problems except the spring for my start button collapsed. Mine is an 07. I do 100 mile races at a time so I change my oil every after every race. You should change the oil about every 15 hours in normal riding conditions. I don't know what you're talking about when you say pinching hoses... so no I don;t have to. LOL

I love my 450R, I wouldn't trade for anything except a KTM 525 XC. The wet weight(all oils and gas) is 504, that is only about 45lbs more than the Raptor. The 700XX was the fastest production quad last year with 77mph, STOCK!!! Just doesn't have the acceleration of the 450's. They make a 730 kit for it that will stomp just about anything,

My pleasure, clean your air filter every 3 rides or so...

Put some gas in a bucket of some sort and soak your air filter for a few seconds, ring it out and do this a few times. At any bike shop you can get FOAM AIR FILTER OIL, just spray the oil on the filter and let it dry. Then reinstall the filter.

You need to add more air... Is your air box lid on or off? Take it off and try it. Also your filter is clean and oiled?
