  1. I would assume the codes would be in the manual...
  2. I have never heard anything negative about them...
  3. I'm not familiar with the 4x4 setups on quads but I would start looking where the rear drive shaft connects.
  4. The petcock is the best place to start. and work your way into the carb
  5. Get yourself an airsoft gun and crank it up. Hide near the garage or whatever and when they come over you handle business. We did this to a guy in L.A. Who was stealing pieces of my friends car. Blinkers and metal trim and such. When we jumped out he almost crapped himself. We made him get on his knees and then my friend unloaded the airsoft gun on the back of his neck. Airsoft guns shoot plastic BB's about as hard as paintballs. First the dude thought he was about to be killed, then he got about 25 plastic bb's to the back of the neck and head, broke plenty of skin... grown man crying and begging for us to let him go.
  6. Helical inserts, more commonly known by the trademark Heli-coil,[7] are inserts made of coiled wire. The insert is inserted into a tapped hole that is larger than the desired hole. They are usually over-sized so that they anchor themselves. Some have tangs to install them while others don't. Special tools are required to install the inserts
  7. You need to remove the carb and take everything apart. Use a torch tip cleaner to get in all the small spots. the carb needs to be spotless
  8. Never been to Mo but here is a few I found... Finger Lakes State Park, near Columbia, and St. Joe State Park, near Park Hills, offer high quality OHV opportunities: Finger Lakes State Park - Missouri State Parks and Historic Sites, DNR Mark Twain National Forest has ATV and motorcycle areas, Chadwick and Sutton Bluff: Mark Twain National Forest- Home/recreation/hiking/ Midwest Trail Riders Association is based in Missouri: www.ridemtra.com/ For a map of the St. Joe State Park OHV Area:St. Joe State Park - Home - Missouri State Parks and Historic Sites, DNR
  9. If it will run with the choke on that means it is not getting enough fuel. Did you physically remove the carb and take it apart. Use a torch tip cleaner to get in all those little spots. Check the petcock valve, does it have fresh gas?
  10. I'm gonna let Admin make the call?!?!?!
  11. Thanks DD, yeah I crashed back in Feb. and tore my shoulder to pieces. I hadn't rode in 5 months. I placed 4th of 5... Thanks
  12. What kind of riding do you do? The Honda Corporation does not think that hitting mud holes and stuff like that is not smart ATVing so they do not market their quads to those people. Both machines are extremely capable. The Grizzly will be the better choice for an aggressive rider. If you just want something to cruise on and enjoy the outdoors, the Honda will be the better machine as far as fit and finish. 13. I think it sounds like junk in the gas tank/dirty carb. Try the simple stuff 1st.
  14. If it is coming out of the silencer, the packing is probably saturated and needs changed. If it's coming out of the header I would think valve seals.
  15. Welcome to the site, is it coming out of the end of the silencer or wear the pipe connects to the motor?
  16. To clean the carb you will need to remove it. Take it apart and use a torch tip cleaner and carb/choke cleaner. Make sure EVERY nook and cranny of that thing is spotless. I have seen some people have problems with ethanol gas... a very big "could" but it could be that gas.
