I don't know that machine but everyone that I do know would be dumping oil from everywhere with that much. On my 450 I don't even use a full 2 on the tranny and the motor.

Thanks, Dave. Kristin and I are already gathering some things together for Joe. Maybe you could give him a shout out on the ZONE, just ask for prayers. All of our troops can use as much support as possible...even if it is just moral support. -
Your best bet is going to take the carb completely off and either A. buy a rebuild kit or B. clean the living snot out of it. Sounds like the carb could be pretty gummed up too. That is what usually causes the float to get stuck. The bowl on the bottom of the carb has the float in it. When it fills up with gas the float goes up and closes the valve to keep only a certain amount of fuel in there. If it is stuck, nothing to stop the flow of gas. Does that make sense?

Wouldn't be easier to fab a new mount rather than altering the shock.

A stuck float could also explain the steady flow of gas out of the carb.

It wasn't a real thought out plan, I don't know how i managed to get completely under the quad. All I know is that I scratched my front bumper with my helmet, I received a cut on every limb along with some swelling(spilled milk, minor stuff) and my boot was removed. DrtyGrl gave me the angry look.
