  1. Glad you got the problem solved!
  2. I can't believe the timing was off! As far as the low gear, if they messed with the engine maybe they messed with the clutching. With the secondary mod complete the low gear is super low. So low in fact that when completing the mod I would let off the throttle and the engine breaking would bring the quad to a dead stop. The brakes have always been an issue with the cats and they can be tricky to bleed. Make sure there is enough fluid under the seat and in the reservoir in the handle bars. I have also noticed when you have a bearing go bad the breaks fade in and out as the wheel rotates off center. So if you have brakes every once and a while after pumping them up check your wheel bearings.
  3. Welcome to quad crazy! With all of the accessories that is a great deal!
  4. Hope all goes well. I know how annoying it is to be down and out.
  5. Welcome! The only guys that I know that ride in Texas have bigger tires on their ATVs than their trucks and ride mud and water.
  6. I think we need to get your quad really stuck and put that promark to the test. I am so accustomed to using warn just because when I need it I know it will work. However if there is another option like promark with good quality and reliability I think it would be a more economical option.
  7. Just a couple of days till the weekend! Good Morning Everyone.
  8. Not if you keep the cab. What condition is the frame in? And is there any suspension?
  9. It is intresting that the RZR claims a patented design that places the engine behind the back seat for the lowest center of gravity but this buggy has has that years before the RZR.
  10. Ya I wish I could get my hands on quads for those prices, man you are one lucky guy.
  11. Good Morning everybody. Rainy day here and perfect time to get caught up on the forums.
  12. That is a nice looking toy, I will be thinking of all the awsome stuff inside as I camp in my tent LOL.
  13. Welcome to Quad Crazy.
  14. So Bones did you ever get your problem solved?
  15. Go Warn and You will be happy you did. Also when you go to install it the power for the switch is already routed under the front trim piece right below the handle bars. Also a warn should bolt right up to the front bumper on an AC.
  16. Welcome to the forums Bud!
  17. I run sintered in heavy mud and sand conditions. The do have to be changed out quite frequently but I think they last longer than OEM brake pads.
  18. Make sure your fan turns freely, if it is blocked from rotating it may be blowing a fuse when it is switched on. Make sure you have the right size fuse in the fan circuit. A lot of time people run oversized ones to keep the fan from blowing when entering the water. Check to make sure the motor has a good ground connection. Check the voltage when running and make sure the voltage regulator is working. Finally I know it is a lot of work but remove the rear plastic and the cover where the steering stem goes up and look for wear on the wiring harness. It is a common problem for the harness to wear thru and expose bare wire. If the problem is just starting then when the quad heats up the wire expands slightly and grounds out.
  19. I think you should have around a 136 keihin size on the main jet. If it is a diffrent brand let me know and I will see what size it should be. Also you should do a plug chop and see if you are runing rich or lean. If you need help with that let me know.
