  1. Good Mornin' Everybody. Skypel welcome to the forums.
  2. Welcome! I agree drain the gas and see if you can clean the carb. If you can get it running run some sea foam or Ethanol Treatment in with the gas.
  3. I like that project! Gives me a few ideas Hmmmm.
  4. Here is what I think would work best. A long travel Kit on a ATV with a 6" lift and arched A arms. Then run some skinny agricultural tires on it. No need for a SXS because with the long travel and lift you can at least fit 30" tires under it. I have about 18" of ground clearance on mine with no lift and 30" tires. A long travel lift will also make the ATV more stable. It may be a little expensive Lift is about 2K Axels 2K and tires/rims 1K plus the cost of the ATV. Here is an example only picture skinny tires on there. If you need more info let me know.
  5. Welcome to QC.
  6. I for one am happy it's Monday, What a crazy busy weekend. Well, Good Morning Everyone.
  7. Thanks! I can't wait to get riding up there this year.
  8. RAC is open now and you can sign up online, AOAA will be opening in a year or so but they are giving tours. Coal Hill is still there but debatable if you can ride or not. Personally I stay away from Coal Hill.
  9. Thanks, I hope I can race this year. I am having a few problems with my gears and am trying to avoid a rebuild.
  10. Maple Run and Burnt Mills both will only take up a day of riding at most. I ride one before lunch and one after.
  11. Yep you need to be registered and insured. Not too expensive. However I usually take the SXS on these rides to remain under the radar.
  12. I would look for something around 500cc or larger.
  13. Sounds like a fun time! Speed is adictive.
  14. Welcome to QuadCrazy. If you do not find an answer to your questions in the forums feel free to start a new topic and we will try and help you out.
  15. Good Morning Everyone. I am hoping to squeeze in a camping trip this weekend.
  16. LOL I was going to say I learned how to pull wheelies by kneeling on the seat that way in case something went wrong you can always jump off the bike. Maybe that is not a good approach for a sport quad but It sure helped on mine.
  17. Good Morning Quad Carzy!
  18. Cool glad to see you found the problem.
  19. Glad you had a good time! Post up some pics. I have not been to Demon run in over a year.
  20. Check this link out. Quad Hunter - every used ATV for sale! I used this site to decide how much to sell the teryx for.
  21. Welcome to the forum Michael
  22. Service Manual and Wiring Diagrams are here also: http://www.mymowerparts.com/pdf/
  23. The first problem is that usually some part of the carb was put together wrong, the plug if fouled, or the gas is bad. I usually siphon out the gas from the tank I know 06 and up is not gravity fed by guess is the 05 falls in the same boat so the is no fuel shut off. Put some new gas in it and run the required mix of sea foam in the gas and let it idle for a while to work its way through the carb then check and clean the plug. At least that is where I would start.
