  2. Yeah piston slap is really noticable in diesel engines but in gas engines if the piston or cylinder wall is worn excessively it makes a knocking noise. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2

  13. Agreed..... When you checked timing did you verify the cam marks or just the crank? Also a real biggie is did you adjust your valves. Unadjusted valves make for a hard start.
  14. What are the compression #s... If at a total loss and willing to have it repaired bring it to Diggin Racing in Bohemia. Chris did excellent work to my motor. Highly recommended Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  15. I dont like to use it but does it run on starting fluid? If it does then its fuel. If not then its spark or mechanical Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  16. Almost! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  17. As for repairing it yes but requires it being done at a machine shop. They would build it up with weld and then machine it to factory spec. Check out the Kawasaki thread on here for your shop manual. That will bring up to speed as to how to time it.

  20. Until you drill out the holes, i would try to find the strongest 8mm bolts possible. Not the ones from Home Depot or Lowes but from a bolt manufacturer. At the very least keep 4 sets of nuts/bolts with you incase it happens again. That way you will only be down for a few minutes instead of loading it on to the trailer. Make sure the chain slack is correct too. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2

  25. First thing i would do is start from scratch. D/l a shop manual from quadcrazy and make sure everything is at its factory setting. Then check for frame straightness. With the wider a arms you might just magnify the under lying problem. Also ride with BOTH hands if possible. Actually now that i think of it a steering stabilizer would be your best bet. Get the bike to its factory suspension settings, check frame straightness then order a steering stabilizer. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
