  4. Agree with Oxy. Get a small plumbers torch that uses MAPP gas they are more expensive but easily available at any hardware store. MAPP burns alot hotter than propane Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2

  7. ^^^ forgot that one as my bike doesnt have those but most sport quads with swing arm suspensions need the swing arm assembly taken apart and repacked with grease. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  8. Just out of curiosity will it fire if you put a lil gas in the plug hole? Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  9. Lastly and most important remove any ground wire you can find. Sandpaper the metal and reinstall ground. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  10. Yes all fluids changed. If you have 4x4 check all shafts and diff fluids. Take off plastics and do a visually frame/chasis inspection. Remove all electrical connectors and fill with dielectric grease. Use a ethanol treatment in gas tank. Thoughly clean off seasons mud and gunk. Any machined surface gets a spray of wd40 except for brake rotors obviously. Spray cleaned plastics and tires with armor-all or spray wax. Check tire pressure. Remove spark plug and put a couple teaspoons of motor oil in there. Crank over motor for a second then reinstall plug. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  11. What was the reason for the cam change? Any noises before the tear down? Maybe your timing mark is off. Verify that the piston is at TDC. Stick a screwdriver in the sparkplug hole and make sure the piston is at tdc then check the timing mark. That way you also know your crank is timed too. Then make sure you have spark, no air leaks blah blah Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  12. Use a bfh and a block of wood to hammer out the dent in the rim. I run 3-4 psi normally on my sporttrax Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  13. Thanks guys I usually never run below a 1/2 tank on my rides but have found a new riding place in Trevorton PA. Riding coal hills. Most of the runs are WOT so just in case. Also the pic is deceiving the strap ends are about 10" from the chain. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  14. Since space is limited on my 400ex, to carry some extra gas I mounted a MSR stove fuel can where the factory toolbox was. I never had the toolbox and carry extra tools in a hydration backpack. The gas can only holds 30oz but is enough to last a few hours of light throttle riding. Also the can was meant to hold stove fuel or white fuel for camping not regular gasoline but so far no leaks nor ruptures Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  15. Not familiar with the bike but obviously the seals will have to be replaced with heat. Make sure there are no aluminum or brass parts in there before the heating process. Those melt at a much lower temp than steel and will make the carrier/axle a permanent part. If just steel then o for it and get your self a seal kit. Last ditch effort would be to cut the axle and remove the carrier and then press the remaining out Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  16. What kind of bike?? If its a swing arm just beat the crap out of it like Swampcat says. It will move. Make sure you have all the locks removed Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  17. On my 400ex with a stage3 its not advanced Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  18. Drain the tank and add some fresh k1 that will at least eliminate one suspect Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2

  20. Traitor!! How was the transition? Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  21. I would take the rear carrier totally apart and clean it real good that way you can make a bettet decision. If the races arent chewed up nor the axle you might be ok but you have to take measurements to be sure Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
  22. 180!! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
