    Looks like it was a fun time out.

    Carbon fouled is usually from an overly rich fuel condition. I would put a new plug in it, run it to see if that caused the issue. But more than likely your carb needs an adjustment or rebuild. Also check your air filter, because if its clogged and dirty, you can get an overly rich fuel condition.

    Sounds like a bad ground or wire connection. The water allowed for current to pass and make a temporary connection.

    Do you have a fan on that and is it turning on when it is supposed to? Just wondering if its running too hot.

    I usually just get a can of engine foam cleaner and spray it on. Let it sit and spray off with water.
