  1. You've come to the right place, welcome to QUADCRAZY! The one seater larger ATVs can fit 2 people no real issues. I've had people on the back. I'm not a fan of the 2 seat factory design unless you are always going out with a second person. What you can invest in is some good rear cargo (atv trunk) to mount to your rear rack for seat extension and back support. However, I've never owned a two seater so maybe someone who has will have better insight!
  2. I thought this was pretty cool and decided to start a new topic on it. Anyone have this yet? 3. I'm starting this thread to list the ATVs and UTVs that currently have Bluetooth connectivity as OEM and any aftermarket products out there. Lets list and have a discussion about any new devices or atvs that are coming to the market with Bluetooth connectivity. This is probably biased towards atvs with electronic dash clusters, but with the technology changing so fast, it's good to know what's new and up 'n coming. I read this on ATVRider... Polaris Sportsman XP1000 The top of the line Polaris Sportsman XP1000 has an instrument cluster that features Bluetooth connectivity. This way, if you get a phone call, voice mail or text while out on the trail, you can glance down at the screen and decide if its important enough to stop and dig your phone out of your pocket. How many atvs with electronic dashboards do you think will start to have this type of connectivity? Check out Polaris' Ride Command: http://www.polaris.com/en-us/atv-ranger-rzr/touch-screen
  4. Happy New Year, I agree with Dave that it will be a year to remember...I have a funny feeling!
  5. Is it a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800? Because the value on that is just under the $4k although you are getting a plow. Then you need to look at the condition; plastic, undercarriage, oil, tires, etc. If he's modified it and messed with the EFI, might want to be careful. Nada: http://www.nadaguides.com/Motorcycles/2007/Polaris/SPORTSMAN-800-EFI-760cc/Values I would look around at other deals for $4k. Look at Yamaha Grizzly and Suzuki King Quads around the same year.
  6. Cool pic ajm
  7. So depends on the price really and if its a good deal. An 800 would be nice and powerful but a 500 like you said, would probably be fine. I'm assuming its a Polaris Sportsman? It's always recommended to start with lower CC's if you never owned a quad, however I do know people that went straight to 600 and higher CC. So back to price because it sounds like its a neighbor who may give you a good deal and it comes with a plow. If I were you, I would ask him to take it for a ride to see how you like it. The 2007 should come with all your "bells and whistles". Always look at the value with comp sales for the same. You can use NADA http://www.nadaguides.com/Motorcycles/ATVs
  8. Best ATV Fails Compilation (Funny)
  9. Does anyone own or has owned a Yamaha Banshee ATV? I saw a few posted for sale and decided to start a thread and would like to hear the good, the bad, the ugly... There are some nice modded ones I've seen online (pictures below). Post a pic if you own one.
  10. Sottie, did you ever get this figured out?
  11. Quad updates please, what atvs do you have these days?
  12. That must be nice!
  13. Have you tried changing out the ignition coil, plug, and wire? It's relatively inexpensive.
  14. I wasn't aware that 3 wheel mode makes it highway worthy. Interesting.
  15. Good morning! Blast of cold today and windy. Winter is definitely here.
  16. Cool, I have to see if I have anything to contribute.
  17. That's pretty fast. I have had quads up to about 70 before in the snow.

  19. I have to say, I didn't even know this brand existed and know nothing about them. I just checked out their site at http://www.badboyoffroad.com/atv/ and see one ATV, the Onslaught 550 in a regular, EPS, and Camo version. Looks good, I would be interested to know more about this brand though, I need to do some reading. They have a few side by sides though. This is off their site, looks like a US company: Bad Boy® became part of Textron in 2010, when our brand and product line were acquired by Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc., which also owns the E-Z-GO® and Cushman® brands. Backed by the resources and expertise of publicly-traded Textron Inc., Bad Boy will continue to revolutionize the industry with new vehicles and technology that change the way people experience the outdoors. Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) is not only one of the world's best known multi-industry companies, it is a pioneer of the diversified business model. By placing customers first in everything we do, Textron continues to grow as an industry leader with strong brands such as Bell Helicopter, Cessna® Aircraft, Kautex, Lycoming, E-Z-GO and Greenlee®, among others. The lowest model doesn't seem to shabby... 20. I agree with quadnut20, regular maintenance is the key.
