  1. exhaust clogged? put your hand over the intake and see if its sucking.
  2. you'll need to get the top end rebored or get a new cylinder then match the piston to that.
  3. looks good to me too. check the chain tension and call it good.
  4. it'd be nice but stealerships make a big fat wad of cash fixing things so its not likely to happen. should be glad they havent done the john deere method where they dont allow anyone to work on their stuff at all.
  5. I dont think the 350 motor ever changed, one of the other manuals for 350s might get you by
  6. the spark plug cap is always a gotcha too. how I picked up my kodiak way back on the cheap, guy couldnt get it running.
  7. I just bought a 2008 grizzly 450 and I'm not having any luck finding a freebie service manual. anyone have one they'd like to share?
  8. it should take more than 15 minutes to recharge a dead battery. there's something going on there. how's your compression?
  9. I ended up replacing the vacuum petcock with a manual and replacing the fuel pump on mine with a cheap honda one. I dont trust vacuum petcocks, they are always a source of mystery running problems on older bikes. maybe your floats need adjusted? bad float needle or seat? I know the shop said they were ok but it obviously isnt running right.
  10. sounds like you have an air leak somewhere. check the intake manifold, air filter path, etc.
  11. There was a link to the complete yamaha line up service manual collection somewhere on this forum if all else fails. I dont see it now but you might find it with some digging. and if not I might be able to get the right one to you somehow, dropbox whatever
  12. I'm no expert but that seems pretty unlikely to me, it'd have to go through the transfer case too wouldnt it?
  13. a little lesson I learned when trying to check the timing on my kodiak, dont use the F on the fly wheel. you'll get a face full of oil(right in my eyes!). take some masking tape and make some marks on the pull start gear.
  14. thats your carb drain, there's a screw right there you can tighten to close it
  15. You either need new pads, to bleed them or a master cylinder rebuild
