  1. Best kind of problems ! Easy fix, well done.
  2. Welcome to Quadcrazy!
  3. Have you checked the shocks to make sure one is not blown? The bike may be pulling if one shock is blown.
  4. Thanks @Ajmboy I agree. Just to mess around with it would be fun.
  5. Was the bike sitting where the fuel in the carb has gone bad and causing a problem? It sounds like there is a fuel restriction someplace. Fuel dries up and gets very thick like a varnish and flakes up inside the bowl. Bad gas ? Some dirt in the carb? Also keep in like that the sometimes the fuel pump needs to be primed. Could be air bound.
  6. My guess would be no. The best thing to do If you do buy it is to get all the wheels off the ground. With the bike in neutral spin the tires and see what spins and what grinds and makes noise. Go from there.
  7. The casing is what I was going to say. It’s possible that it was a bad cast and the starter is slightly cocked. My best guess would be to do some research and see if there were any recalls or complaints about this happening as well as some remedy’s for it like a shim kit maybe ? This is just a guess.
  8. Start by spraying everything down with WD 40 to loosen things up. Then taking it apart. Let’s see how bad things are. Maybe it’s bad maybe not. Only one way to find out!!!!
  9. Looks great.
  10. Look on eBay for an oem used as well for sh*** and giggles. Maybe get lucky.
  11. $130 bucks is worth it. As long as it’s running, the engine parts alone could be worth double that. And if the plastics are in good shape then that’s worth another $150 for both front and back even if there faded. And if the metal racks are not too banged up they are worth money also. Easy $60 bucks a rack. So you would get your money back. Now having said that, if your looking for a project then you can go to eBay and find some used axels for a fair price and play around with it as a project but your probably going to spend about $250 on parts and some time. As far as experience goes well that’s another story. If your mechanically inclined and have some knowledge about cars and things of that nature then you will be good. The seat is an easy fix and cosmetics are as well. Try and get the price down more. It’s basically a dead bike as it is. Offer him $75 bucks. He will come back at $100.
  12. Lol your a nut @JacobSlabach! Dose anyone know what that clip was from ? Old show !
  13. That would hurt ! And exactly what I was thinking.

  16. As much as I’ve taken apart and put back together I’ve never really had to rip into any clutches like the springs etc. I’m sure I could but I’m not hoping to have to any time soon! 😬
  17. Prob a good point. Prob don’t get stuck that often based on the way they are set up.
