Kawasaki KLF 220 Bayou OIL leaking HELP!!
Frank Angerano replied to EoNe Frost Vortex's topic in Kawasaki ATV Forum
Nothing to really recommend other then verifying that 1. The seals aren't defective. 2. They are the proper seals for that engine. 3. You installed then properly. Ive made simple mistakes like not seating the seals correctly. -
It could be. I have seen instances where timing was set bit once tightened on the chain tensioner it throws it off. its a long shot but im just throwing things out there.

Could be a simple timing thing.

Kawasaki KLF 220 Bayou OIL leaking HELP!!
Frank Angerano replied to EoNe Frost Vortex's topic in Kawasaki ATV Forum
It's possible the seals you got are bad or for the wrong year or make? Sucks but it happens. -
Hows the plug look? Timing spot on ? Valves adjusted good ? Throw an inline spark tester and see if spark is breaking down at 60% throttle.

Starting problem 2004 Suzuki Twin Peaks
Frank Angerano replied to Jeff Miller's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
Sounds like the starter clutch went. Listen brother I'm sure your more then capable to fix this machine but your probably doing more harm then good by not listening to what we are telling you. The trick here was to pull the plugs and crank the engine to see if the starter worked. If it did turn with the starter button then it would tell you if the decompression device is failing. If you keep trying to crank the engine and think its magically going to fix itself its not. Im not going to say for sure the high compression broke the starter clutch but its possible. I also am telling you that testing leads to results, its a process of elimination thing. Please don't take this the wrong way but i am calling it like it is. You haven't posted one answer to what we suggest to do here. If you did try any those things we would not know based on your responses. -

They are talking about killing the rest of the school year here in ny. Now we have a moron for a mayor who thinks he calls the shots and has prematurely made bad decisions through this crisis. Thank god our Governor has the brains and authority to make educated decisions that include other counties and states! He's literally saying that any decision he makes will include/consulted with other states at minimum to see whats the best way to go. So today our big bird mayor decided to go on TV and say he is not going to open the schools for the rest of the school year. He said he has the authority to do so! I was really upset, but then the governor went on right behind him and pulled the carpet right out from under him. TFG! I would hope there is something salvageable for the sake of my daughter's graduation!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 -

1989 Yamaha moto 4 350cc BIG Project!!!!! Help
Frank Angerano replied to Ted Craig's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Man I love big projects ! Welcome to Quadcrazy. I would make a list and tackle it item by item. I will check with a few local people that have atv scrap yards and see what they have. Service manual can be downloaded after 10 or more contributing posts within the forum or being a paid member. -
Ok definitely try getting all wheels off of the ground and see what happens as far as going into gear. Also see what happens when you go into 2x4 as well. Double check your brakes aren't locked up. Last thing I would check are your differential drives. Open the fill plug and feel around for any damaged gears. Don't move wheels while your fingers are feeling around in there. You may have blown a differential.

It's probably inside the handlebar control. Philips screwdriver, open the control and test the two wires for continuity. -
Kawasaki KLF 220 Bayou OIL leaking HELP!!
Frank Angerano replied to EoNe Frost Vortex's topic in Kawasaki ATV Forum
EoNo if its coming from the gasket at the valve cover then you have to listen to me and @MarkinAR. Pull the valve cover and add the silicone on both sides of the gasket. If its coming from the head gasket you would not get a good compression reading like your saying.
