  1. Congrads! You can always call her Brooke for short that a cool name.
  2. Welcome to QC!
  3. I was guessing there may have been something obstructing the main jet. If the dealer worked on the carb and it is a carb problem I would take it back to them first. Sounds like the float was stuck and overflowing, did they say if they cleaned the carb when they replaced the jet? Only seems logical. Also they could have used the wrong size jet or put the carb back together wrong. (Slide, Clip, Diaphram, etc) The other place I would check besides the carb is for an obstruction/problem in the air intake system. Mice Nest, Dirty Filter, Loose Connection, Open Airbox Lid.
  4. Greenie I hope today is good to ya! Good Morning Everyone.
  5. Happy Monday! Only 5 more days till Friday.
  6. My quad looks so diffrent now. Time to get all the cats together for a new pic.
  7. I agree as long as they are riding. Even if guys see me backing a pink bike off the trailer. It's a price I have to pay. Her seat is pink now also.
  8. This trail system is more eastern PA but I ride all over PA.
  9. Looks like you had some fun on this ride and good eats also. We sure can use some sun around here. Lows are still in the 20s
  10. Rob welcome to the forums. I would start by draining the gas, cleaning the carb, and visually checking for air of vacuum leaks. I with today's gas I would not let it stand more than 2 weeks without an additive. Take the carb out and clean it either a jet could be obstructed, float sticking or the overflow on the bowl blocked. Check the intake boot and vacuum lines are secure. The down hill riding problem can be due to the engine breaking engaging and changing the idle of the engine. I think cleaning the carb and new gas should solve the problem. Stop back and let us know how you are progressing. I also merged both post so all of the replies can be in the same spot.
  11. Thanks, LOL, Well no use in letting it sit on the trailer.
  12. Greenie I hope you are right. I traded in the Kawi with no problems for the commander. The reason I chose the commander is because can am was really thinking when it came to the layout of the cabin and the confort of the seating. So far so good and the power delivery is awsome.
  13. Not sure on the center to center width but these guys would know. The ATV in the picture is 48" wide so the wheels center to center should be around 52" +/- but then you can add 1" or 2" wheel spacers or they can custom build the a-arms longer before you order the axels. Home - MUDTECHinc Custom ATV Fabrication Should be able to hook you up with the lift and axels. I am being partial but an Arctic Cat Diesel would be awesome for this job and you might even be able to run a bio diesel. At first I would have suggested a low cc gas machine like a 400 but then you might need additional power to turn large tires if you choose to use 30" plus tires. Let me know if you are going to place an order with the Mud Tech Guys the phone numbers on their site are the easiest way to get a hold of them and tell them swampcat sent ya.
  14. This is very positive news I heard today. Injured Officer Makes His Return To ATV Course « CBS Pittsburgh
  15. Good Morning Everyone, Another weekend of riding is here.
  16. I checked it out also. The link did not work so I searched and joined. I will share when the time gets closer.
  17. I agree with everyone above, give it another cleaning. Also I am not sure if the 2000 is gravity fed or not but make sure you have the fuel turned off when the quad is sitting. And if you have snorkels sometimes (vary rare) when transporting the ATV there is a sort a vacuum on the carb and it can draw excess gas into the carb and leak past the rings.
  18. Good Morning Quad Crazy!!
  19. Ya I never used motosport.com before just wanted to show that EBC should have the part.
  20. Does this link help? EBC Brake Rotor - Rear | MotoSport

    Little Whip

This photo makes me want to get out and ride. I love coal country.
  23. Now that's funny right there. You need the eyebrows and the little bit of feathers on top. I hope you left that as seen in the pic.
  24. Glad you and the quad survived. This is why I am more of a play in the mud type of guy.
