    Well said!!! I've never ridden out there, but am a Long Islander at heart being born out there and having family there. Unfortunately, this kind of crap goes on all over where there is money influencing decisions. Follow the higher taxes and you follow the BS!

    Check those axles and hub bearings, my friend used to have an xplorer and he went through a bunch of them. One time we were screwing around in the snow at a shopping center and he hit a shopping cart with his tire...blew out the axle . There were a few times on the trails with issues also.

    Yes, when you go in reverse it flips down, then stands up in forward. No winch. It's nice, but you have to lift it and place it on the rails if you want it up to drive, without road contact. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums

    Not sure on that model, but typically when the quad is cold, you turn the choke on to level it off while it starts, then after it reaches operating temperature, you shut it more off...as long as everything is working properly.

    Have you tried rocking the quad back and fourth? Isn't there an emergency shifter? Does that work? With ES models, if the battery is weak, it won't shift properly. * Included manufacturer and issue into thread title.
