  1. Should be on the right side upper frame near the fuel tank.
  2. Attached pages from manual. You will need an ohm meter. Why do you think its bad? CDI.pdf
  3. Nice. Natural selection in action and takes him out of the gene pool too.
  4. I can`t keeps these kids out of the water. Might as well roll with it. Anyone have some wetsuits for sale?
  5. Did some research online and talked to friends. OEM is the way to go. Now if I can find one under $150USD I will be happy.
  6. Here`s a pic of the fuel selector routing channels.
  7. You have a vacuum operated fuel valve. The diaphragm opens up the fuel valve when it gets suck from the carb. No suck: it stops fuel delivery. Its meant to be automatic shutoff when the machine is not running. The spring operates a poppet shutoff valve. Removing the spring doesnt close the poppet allowing fuel to flow. The PRI position actually bypasses all this and feeds fuel directly. Your problem might be not getting suck from the carb or the poppet is stuck closed. I dont like these because the diaphragm can leak and you end up sucking fuel into the carb causing an overly rich condition. Ive replaced those on my machines with a standard ON OFF RES valves. Ive never seen a rebuild kit for them. You can look around. Otherwise get the standard valve, or put it together again and make sure the poppet works right. Also you can just run it in PRI, always on position.
  8. Possible. Arctic Cat did use Suzuki engines in the past. This is the only reference I could find quickly: 06 03 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 Engine Motor Package Deal | eBay The spec sheets Ive seen online say both are 376cc engines. I suggest calling a Arctic Cat dealer to confirm. What is wrong with the engine you have now?
  9. Off hand I'm thinking you have a shorted battery. Do you have any electrical accessories installed on this? Attached troubleshooting for a 2002 500 quad runner. I don't have your manual but its basic stuff. Start with the charging voltage check on page 8-8. 2002 - 2007 Suzuki LT-A500F Service Manual.pdf
  10. What is a good after market brand for CVT belts? Want durability and gripping power. Intended for a 2009 Suz King Quad 450.
  11. I havent seen a winch on a sport quad. Never thought to look though. Search ebay for a kit mount to give you some ideas.
  12. First check that the battery is hooked up correctly. Might have a polarity issue; a wire that should be hooked to negative but is on positive. Has this machine been running fine before?
  13. Suggest checking valve clearance too. You have a tappet shim setup which means you have to buy shims if it needs adjustment.
  14. 2005 Suzuki KingQuad 700 4X4 Reviews, Prices, and Specs ATV.com rated it 3rd place in 2005. For snow plowing you will like the differential lock. Im partial to King Quads so I have some bias. My major complaint about this model style is the small steering camber angle. It magnifies steering bump. If you intend to ride on rough or rutted trails it will give you a work out. Price with plow, tires, and winch seems fair.
  15. Check your air cleaner and spark plug. Make sure your carb air intake and outlet connections are secure. Beyond that suspect your carb needs to be cleaned or re-built.
  16. First you should download a manual for it if it's available on the forum here, or get from another online source. How does it idle? Might consider turning that up.
  17. I was referring to raising the needle jet. I assume you have the type of carb with sliding barrel throttle. Comes out by unscrewing the top cap.
  18. Are you the original owner? Just wondering if a different model carb found its way in there. There are different jet components for these Mikuni carbs depending on ATV model. You could try raising the needle jet to enrich the mixture.
  19. If its still flooding. Check the vacuum tube that operates the fuel pump for fuel in it. Might be a bad seal in the pump.
  20. I don't know. You'd have to look at other models on bike bandits site and match the PN.
