    Have you tried calling the dealer? They should probably have that service in their database and what to look for. * Added year, make, and model to thread title.

    I have to agree, check all your grounds. Also check your voltage regulator and stator. What does it read at higher rpms? It's a 12V battery and should be reading 13V + i would think. I read somewhere that there is a recall on some stators. What year is your quad?

    Have you replace the air filter? When it starts to sputter if you sray in starting fluid into the air cleaner, will it run? If it does, it is fuel starved and that carb is not working. * Added full year and manufacturer to thread title.

    I found a generator at a home depot 45 miles away. $799. The next day (day of the storm) the power was out and I needed a cable to hook up the generator directly to the house because the guy who sold it to me, told me it came with it. I went out in the storm and hit 4 home depots because the lights would be out for a while. Got home with the new cable and it was a 20 amp instead of 30 amp. What a bi***!! Went back out later to find a 30 amp or make one, but noone had anything left. Got home and hooked up the generator with some regular plugs to power some essentials. 10 minutes later the lights went on! Go figure... I wasted 2 days, but at least I will be prepared the next storm.
