    sorry i didnt see you had spark. could be timing/valves out of sync ...

    No spark? Test the voltage with regulator, stator and stator pick-up coil. Coil too

    thanks W1. i go back in just over 2 weeks to finish it. Justin was right into the design, but only did the outline which is ok with me, cause his mom is sick and his mind wasn't totally into it. i was really hoping to have it all done in the 1 sitting, but maybe this is a good thing as i was annoyed with the needle this time

    i looked at the owners manual and its really the service manual for the 500. i think it is an 07, did they change alot to 09?
