What trike are we talking about?????? In my Opinion.....If you can keep the Stockers on a Trike keep them on.....Repair if needed....New plastic looks good.....but if the Rest of the Trike looks like hell....New plastic will just Magnify the Ugliness of the Rest of it.....LOL!!!! Lets see a pic of your Trike....Or have I/????

If there was a Bulletin Posted....They should Honor it and repair your bikes.....'' Are you saying that you have Contacted Polaris Directly or just your Dealer???? Either way.....if there was bulletin for a Defective part it should be taken car of free of charge regardless of age if you are the Original owner.....I would be getting a copy of the Bulletin and moving up the Polaris Chain of command..... PULL THE PLUG!!!!!! LOL!!!! Yea,,,,Check the plug.....Ill bet it is Fouled.....Also,,,,I hope you are Draining your Carb Bowl if you let it sit that long.....If you are keeping mixed Fuel in your Tank.....And letting it sit that long between Starts.....You might want to Give the Bike a Shake or Two before opening the Fuel Petcock.....

That has got to be one of the Ugliest things I think I have ever seen.... And,,,,,Not Very practical.....

There is no way to check the cdi but by process of elimation. The spec ohm for the pick up coil is 170-220 ohms. The spec ohm for the chargeing coils is .70-.86 ohms. The spec ohm for the source coil is 270-330ohms. The spec ohm for the primary winding side of the ignition coil is .36-.48 ohms. The spec ohm for the secondary winding of the ignition coil is 5.44-7.36 K ohms. The spec ohm for spark plug cap is 10 K ohms. If all of these check out then your cdi is bad or there could be a wiring problem. Check for loose connections and bad grounds. Hope this helps.
