  1. Good morning! @Frank Angerano I'm jealous! Make sure to post the beach pics!!!
  2. Did you buy it on Amazon? The one below is for an older 90 by Keihin and in the description it states that in some cases need a new throttle cable. So I would contact them directly. If its on amazon, you can ask a product question. Here's a throttle cable at Amazon for under $20:
  3. @Shelbe Renner your email address has been removed from your post. For immediate download access you can update your membership. Download guidelines available here: https://www.quadcrazy.com/announcement/16-requirements-to-access-downloads-read-here/
  4. Welcome! There are a few bayou 220 owners in the community so you’ve come to the right place! I used to own one myself, nice atvs.
  5. Welcome @Jade Dockery you’ve come to the right place! Those Chinese quads are tricky when it comes to finding repair info and parts. However, most of them share similarities and can be fun to fix and get going. That 87 Honda is a nice ATV, I remember I wanted one when I was younger.
  6. Should be 80w-90 gear oil. Any of these should do: Here's a good video on replacing the rear differential oil on a Kawasaki Bayou 220:
  7. Is the chain stretched or too long? Good video:
  8. Nice job on the bayou. I had a bayou 220 years ago, bought it new at the time. Took it riding a lot and held up everywhere. Here's an old pick of me on it about 15 or 16 years ago...I never had a winch by my buddy bought his at the same time and put one one. It was convenient for when we got stuck!
  9. I personally always check amazon as well as some of the main stream atv parts sites. Then there are individual amazon stores but if you just get a part # and search amazon, sometimes you'll get a better price.
  10. You can get a simple attachment like this: or a full conversion from Motion Pro or other like: There's a few older topics you may want to look through around twist throttles as well:

    What a view!
  12. Great pics! I hate connectors and I'll never forget when i was younger and issue I had on my car. 86 trans-am tuned port with a fuel pump in the tank that would randomly shut off and not start. I traced wires and even dropped the tank to replace the pump. Turned out to be a connector under the dash not fully seated I found by last resort of unplugging and plugging in all connectors i could see. Spent 3 months not knowing what or when it would not work, it was so random. So...it's an experience that stuck with me, I always check connections because they are like hidden issues...
  13. We were sitting watching and its just amazing how much he lights off, big stuff too. I'm sure its expensive but he seems to love it every year. My sister was over with their dog and the poor dog was so freaked out from all the noise. BBQ all day (hot out) some Blue Moons and Margaritas was our day! Enjoy what I'm assuming is an island trip? We'll look forward to some great pics @Frank Angerano ! Hope everyone had a nice relaxing day!!!
  14. Great parenting! It's just not worth it to NOT wear a helmet in most cases, especially kids.
  15. Happy 4th! We are going to be home with family and sometimes the neighbors set stuff off.
  16. Isn't higher octane fuel reddish in color? Is it not fuel you are seeing? Does it stop leaking if you shut that fuel petcock off? My grizzly has a bad fuel petcock and when I park it I have to shut it off until I find the time to replace it!
  17. Sounds like a fun project. I would put that carb on and see how it goes because it sounds like you can't get you A/F mixture correct. Is it jetted correctly? Is that a new chinese carb you put on and are ordering another one? You can find parts at https://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/l/hon/50541767f870021c54bef607/1981-atc110-a-parts Service manual:

  19. Did you ever figure this out? I've read on other forums that it could be an overheating issue or related to a needed software update.
  20. @BChesebro you can try this one:
  21. I've looked around but can't find one for the earlier 185 bayou. Maybe @colin james, @oxidized_black, @flyinbrian365 can help, they post a lot of the manuals in the downloads section and may have one.
  22. Were you ever able to find this? Would be good to add to the library here because we don't have one: https://www.quadcrazy.com/search/?q=bayou&type=downloads_file&nodes=6 If you find one, you can share https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/submit/
  23. Does it look like this? 1999-2001 on ebay
  24. Check out this parts diagram from Bike Bandit. https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/1999-yamaha-warrior-350-yfm35xl/o/m145982?CRTP=psc&gclid=CjwKCAjw9dboBRBUEiwA7VrrzZIuOBnUvq25TYMx_5gBz1ZwHgIJhunqa7aTAgEvQtUetngda2W_-xoCq-IQAvD_BwE#sch106310
  25. Have you looked at this recall info yourself? Check the model number and description. Maybe try calling Polaris directly? https://www.polaris.com/en-us/recalls/off-road/polaris-recalls-sportsman-due-to-crash-hazard/
