    there is probably a clutch adjustment. you could try that. it has the revs? on mine it is on the throttle side of the bike, it looks like a slotted screw inside a nut. not sure left or right on yours to adjust more, but once tight, back off half a turn ...

    trace all your wires and make sure they aren't grounding out and broken i would say first. i'll look to see if i have a manual for your bike and you can look at the electrical schematics ...

    given the age of the bike i agree with top end work and rings, carb could be cleaned or have a rebuild kit to make it healthy again. by the way, welcome to QC Brad !!

    good bike for sure, but not sure of the downfalls. seller seems to be biggest downfall ... check around on craigslist and see what they're going for ....
