  2. Figured it out the clutch has little weights inside and one of these had tiped over just had to clean it up re grease it and put it back together a guy at the local yamaha shop new exactly what the problem was after i explained the problem thanks!!
  3. Its a great kids quad my nephew has one and loves it but he only weights 90 lbs and is 12 years old but if you are a full grown man then you may want to look at the 400 or 450 class
  4. Will a intake really add 5 horse to my KFX 450? Just the fuel custommes intake is a little expensive so I want to be sure before I spend the cash thanks!!
  5. I am running a lexx slip on exhaust and a lexx fuel controller after putting these on I gained alot of power from stock but if what I am hearing about the intake is true i need to get one asap 5 horses really? that would be sweat thanks for the input.
  6. I have a 2006 rhino and it seems to only go about 20 it just seems like the clutch is bad or something anyone had a smiler problem or any suggestions?
  7. Just curious out of the three machines above with a pipe intake and fuel controller which is the fastest up a sand hill anyone have some specs or experiance?

As mentioned above if you are going to store your quad through the winter pick up a trickle charger I bought a Tusk one for like 20.00 works great and if your battery is junk RM has them for pretty cheap and they come with a 6 month warranty there called motopower they have worked good for me check them out .ATV Parts, ATV Tires, Dirt Bike Parts & Motocross Gear | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

  11. Hi I have a 2008 KFX 450 and have herd you can put the cams out of the KXF 450 dirt bike in it to get better performance anyone done this or know if it really helps??
  12. I came across this video on my facebook these guys are nuts going 2000 miles on some pretty old bikes to watch the supercross in JANUARY!! let me know what you guys think? I think we should get a group of atv riders to do something like this on all dirt roads. [ame] [/ame]
  13. I run a Lexx exhaust on mine and it's sweet exspecially for the price.
  14. Duro power grips are what I use and I do alot of plowing they work great and wear great!!
  15. Thanks at 230.00 for a set of clamps i would hope they would work good but i think i would just pay a little more and get the bars.

  19. Have you tried turning your idle screw up a little? will it idle with the choke on? may just need to clean carb?

  21. Hey guys I ride a 2008 KFX450R and do a little desert racing however can seem to to keep the arm pump away, I was looking at getting some Fasst Flex handlebars thinking they might help has anyone tried them and do they really help?

They would fit fine they would just be a little wider then your stock tires, the first number is the hight of the tire the secound number is the width and the last number is the rim size so as long as the last number is the same these will mount up on your stock wheels, sorry but your friends are right good luck the razor's are great tires!!

  24. Did you ever figure this out I was just curious I had the same machine doing the same thing and it was the valves.
