  3. I'm upstate a bit, Mahopac NY. Grew up in Nassau, North Merrick.
  4. Have you ever adjusted the carb on that or messed with it? Is it the stock exhaust?
  5. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! * Thread moved to New members forum.
  6. Bad clutch or out of adjustment?
  7. Sounds to me like it's the tranny on that, but not sure. If you can file a claim or go to a service center, that would be the thing to do if it's under warranty.
  8. Sounds to me like the carb needs a little cleaning/inspection. Check out the float pin, it's probably fuel starved at idle and not getting enough fuel in the bowl.
  9. Is there a kill switch anywhere on there? Make sure all your grounds are tight, battery tests good, etc.
  10. I think the choke operation is messed up. * Moved Post to existing thread. Added year and manufacturer to thread title.
  11. Cool, I'm familiar with areas not too far from there, was just in east northport and commack the other day.
  12. Reviving and old thread for the upcoming holiday...what is everyone's plans? My wife and I are gonna go trick or treat with our 4 year old daughter...I think she's dressing her as hello kitty or a pea cock...not sure...
  13. Be sure to let us know what you get, so I can live vicariously through you, and imagine I bought a new quad....lol!
  14. I can barely hang on with hangingon !!!!
  15. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Although those stunts look pretty cool, I don't think they are too smart doing them without helmets. Could be bad for them and bad for the sport. If you really want to do stunts like that, be sure to wear a helmet, and post your stunts on QUADCRAZY! Thanks for posting the video.
  16. If it's a Bayou 300, it's a Kawasaki. Like the post above, check the plug and also check your choke operation. * Moved thread to Kawasaki forum. Added year, make, and model to thread title.
  17. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! What part of the island are you from? What town do you live in?
  18. Those are some great pictures, thanks for sharing!
  19. Now it's Monday morning and back to work! Good morning everyone, have a great week!
  20. Yes, left front hand brake and it should lock. You may even be able to start in gear if you hold it down.... * Added manufacturer to thread title.
  21. Great machine, I used to own a 2005 700 myself. I'm not sure about the light except that if it wasn't happening before, it's probably a direct result of the replacement parts. How much higher is it sitting and is there any info at the aftermarket parts website on this happening? As far as the oil, I agree that in a car, valve stem seals were always to blame on gm motors especially, and in this case, have you checked the air filter? It's sucking oil into the combustion chamber. * Added full year into thread title along with issues.
  22. I guess you got it turned on....
  23. You need an upgrade...
  24. That's pretty funny!
